Cottle Burying Ground
I noticed that you have taken some photos in this cemetery in Industry, Maine (I think).
I have relatives buried there that I'd like to "visit". Do you have directions?

Hello! I was looking at your write-up on Jon Cram and was wondering where you got your information, particularly his marriages. I am trying to help MOCA update their records for Revolutionary Veterans in Waterboro, but I need to site sources. Thank you!

Hi Bill,
What a great passtime. I have only been researching my relatives for the past 1 1/2 years and the postings on Find-A-Grave have been so helpful so thank you for all you have contributed. We have a place on Great East Lake in Acton, ME which is very close to where you are located. Great area.

My uncle is buried in Sanborville, NH cemetary with my Aunt Rita. I believe you have her listed as "Ruth". Could you please change that? I appreciate it. Her name is Rita (Peachey) Tinkham. His date of birth is 16 July 1929 and hers is 02 April 1929.

Thanks so much!

It would be an honor. Thank you so much!!
Where were you in Germany? We did 30 years in the A F, stationed at an Army base outside of Stuttgart (Patch Barracks). Our younger daughter was born there. Military was very good to us. Barb

Hi Bill
I am related to all Vinalhaven / North Haven / South Thomaston (& other mainland Maine) Beverages. I know of several Beverage lines that moved to Vinalhaven, but most descendants I'm in contact with through those lines thought that it was a recent line - like coming over in the 1850's. Sadly, was not aware that there was another colleague on Vinalhaven!! Late Sam Beverage (of Middle Road) must not have known, either. Know we would have been in touch. I wrote a book in 1996, "James Beveridge Descendants: a Family History" so I am always on the hunt for new information.
Unfortunately, the Beverages line itself has no Mayflower connections, arriving in Marblehead, Ma around 1700. All the Mayflower lines are through the "married into" lines -- ie Carvers (Degory Priest), Waterman's (Allerton) etc. I, too, have Griswolds -- way back!
If you can bear with me, I am slowly trying to add my 40 plus years of pictures & information to various lines. I will add Kent Cemetery pictures & information (with your help - please?) but am currently on my Cushing Thomas line. He lived by the Cubby Hole, west of Kent Cove. I just found his graves at Mountain View, Camden, & am trying to link all his family.
If you could link Lucy Orr Thomas (1805 - 1867), wife of Joseph Waterman to her parents, I would be most grateful:
Cushing Thomas 161496121
Deborah Orr: 161495404
Love chatting with you! Thanks so much for your help. Barb

Hi Bill
I am in the process of trying to link North Haven families with those who have moved off-island. I have added the grave photos of Cushing Thomas & his wife, Deborah Orr from Mountain View in Camden. Would very much like to get that family pulled together.

If you would be so gracious to help, the links are: Cushing Thomas (161496121) & Deborah (161495404)

I am 1st generation not to be born on North Haven (have ancestors at Kent Cemetery) & am writing a book on "Early Families of the North Fox Isle." If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to ask. Appreciatively, Barb

Hi Bill, Thanks for the info on the Cynthia & Grace Jellerson headstone. I added the 2 photos just now. I will try to get back there when the white and cold are gone and get a better transcription.

I notified GoPoppa regarding this, but they wanted me to notify you directly. Sorry.... Any further questions, please direct to memorial owner.

The picture on this memorial is wrong, but the
correct one is on memorial #7325116. Could you move it over? Thanks... great job taking pics.
