Frank,

I don't normally double post photos, but I was at the cemetery at the perfect time for this marker.

Memorial #19367322. I will be happy to remove the second photo if you prefer. D. L.

Thank you
Thank you so very much for what you do. Our family is so very small and spaced out a great deal. Without wonderful people like you, there would be no hope to find our loved ones. Again, thank you.

Frank, I went back and changed the marker photo. The new photo includes the date of death. If you want any of the photos removed please let me know. There is one photo that does not show on the page but can be accessed by clicking view all photos. It is the close-up of the dates. Thanks

Thank you
Mr. Irons,

I'm very new to Find A Grave and I'm not even sure how to use it properly just yet. But I just found the memorial page you set up for my younger sister Lesley Kay Mason (#34941572), and I simply had to say thank you. Thank you for her page and for all the work you do here. I'm sure it touches many lives.

Best regards,
~Tracie Mason Holton

Lella Ruth
Hi Frank,
Thanks for leaving flowers for Aunt Ruth :)
My work is still "in-progress". I can see why folks spend YEARS doing this... Mom thought for sure, she knew where Grandma Icie's bible was. We've found some of her nursing books & photos of the family - BOXES on top of all of those we have in albums - I can't wait to go through all of them!
This past Sunday, I had the honor of taking photos for other Find A Grave contributors at our local Veteran's cemetery. That got me thinking about yet another family member that has passed. I can't find him on Find A Grave, so I'll add a memorial for him too. My Mom's older brother, Uncle "Mackie", Mack Lewis Hargrave. Uncle Mackie was a Veteran too, Korea & Vietnam. Take care.

P.S. Notice in your profile you were a Marine, we will be doing a memorial service for my late father this coming Sunday for the 50th anniversary of his passing, he was a Marine Staff Sargent in Korea. In 1964 they did not have a Marine honor guard for him, this coming Sunday March 30th he will finally have his honor guard service.
His Find a Grave Memorial is 10294500
Thank you again for your consideration for Max's memorial.

I didn't list his siblings. This is something new that find a grave is doing. I don't understand why they have him listed, but they are doing the same on all the memorials.

RE: AUNT ICIE TRANSFERED
Thank you so much!! Well, we are kin of some sorts :)
I did just find this on Uncle "Cecil".

I wonder why no mention of Aunt Eleanor, his first wife? I was pretty young the last time I saw her, she was a pretty lady with blonde hair and she always was very nicely dressed. Seems like her & Uncle Cecil were married for a really long time. My mom's sister, Sarah lives 'up north' of us in Florida, I'll see if she knows where Uncle Cecil is. And Aunt Eleanor too. If I find out anything, I'll let you know.
THANK YOU!

Faded Genes
William L. Murray
Please move William L. Murray who died Dec 4, 2006, from the Providence Cemetery in Falkville to the Providence Cemetery in Lawrence County. The one in Falkville is a grown up, snaky cemetery and no one has been buried there since early 1900's. Thanks.
