I'm sorry I submitted a birth place intended for William Spence 11474628 on his wife Partheny 11474670 His birthplace is Alloa, Clackmannan, Scotland. I have a copy of his birth if you would like to see it. Thank you for adding him he is my great great grandfather.
I'm using my husbands new tablet and not sure why or how it ended up on hers.

hi, i was wondering if you happened to have any more information on this family? i manage the Find A Grave memorial for his brother william who apparently has been misidentified as the father of another memorial of mine by the tenngenweb tombstone transcription site which used a transcription book with the notation that he and his wife martha were the parents of a fannie powers stroud in manchester. i belive that is inncorect based on a family member of that group that contacted me, her parents were william anderson powers and celia ann harp. she has asked me for some help unraveling the info to be sure if perhaps the william she has is not the same as the william listed as johns brother because she is out of state and i am here in manchester where he they are both buried. i cannot seem to find the other william powers and wondered if maybe this william listed as johns brother might have had a second wife or the names were confused because they both have sons named john and were born around the same time and buried around the same time in the same area. any light you could possibly shed on this would be most helpful for either verifying ms. fannie power strouds connection to THIS family or a different powers family and help me to identify records for the family member to put in her family documentation, thanks, best regards, nora carver manchester, tn.

Thank you
Thank you so very much for what you do. Our family is so very small and spaced out a great deal. Without wonderful people like you, there would be no hope to find our loved ones. Again, thank you.

Frank, I went back and changed the marker photo. The new photo includes the date of death. If you want any of the photos removed please let me know. There is one photo that does not show on the page but can be accessed by clicking view all photos. It is the close-up of the dates. Thanks

Thank you
Mr. Irons,

I'm very new to Find A Grave and I'm not even sure how to use it properly just yet. But I just found the memorial page you set up for my younger sister Lesley Kay Mason (#34941572), and I simply had to say thank you. Thank you for her page and for all the work you do here. I'm sure it touches many lives.

Best regards,
~Tracie Mason Holton

Hi Frank,
Thanks for leaving flowers for Aunt Ruth :)
My work is still "in-progress". I can see why folks spend YEARS doing this... Mom thought for sure, she knew where Grandma Icie's bible was. We've found some of her nursing books & photos of the family - BOXES on top of all of those we have in albums - I can't wait to go through all of them!
This past Sunday, I had the honor of taking photos for other Find A Grave contributors at our local Veteran's cemetery. That got me thinking about yet another family member that has passed. I can't find him on Find A Grave, so I'll add a memorial for him too. My Mom's older brother, Uncle "Mackie", Mack Lewis Hargrave. Uncle Mackie was a Veteran too, Korea & Vietnam. Take care.
