Thanks so much for the transfers. As hot as it is here in Florida I took a break from photographing cemeteries and working on my family.

William Henderson, 1825-1889, Friendship Cemetery, Madison Co., FL
William Henderson, 1825-1889, has as Confederate stone marking his grave, there are no dates on this stone. He is the brother to Hiram (1829-1900), father of William Lloyd Henderson(1870-1936), husband of Elziabeth DeVane, Susannah J. Rowell and Nellie C. Hay. Sallie Wealthy Henderson(1874-1891) is the daughter of William (1825-1889) and Susannah J. Rowell. Howard E. Henderson (1913-1929) was the son of William Lloyd and Mary Mahalia Tuten. David Noah and George W. Henderson were sons of Hiram and Martha Rowell Henderson. Mariah Grissett Henderson and Winnifred Dyess Henderson were mother and grandmother to Hiram and William Henderson. Mariah was the daughter of Winnifred Dyess and John Grissett. She was raised by her stepfather, David Andrew Henderson who married Winnifred about 1802. Mariah Grissett and her brother William Grissett took their stepfather's name of Henderson. William Grissett Henderson married Nancy Dyess in 1821. They also had a son named William Henderson, born about 1825. There is lots of confusion about all these William Hendersons.

Thank you Cherie Officer & Mark Weitzer for the work you are both doing in posting information from the Chestnut Hill Cemetery. You have both significantly helped in my research of the Simpson families & I want you to know it is truly appreciated.
We recently visited the Chestnut Hill Cemetery - it is certainly one of the loveliest cemeteries I've ever visited.
Please keep up the good work.

Dunning's at Chestnut Hill
Cherie, I am in the process of posting Chestnut Hill Cemetery. Cattaraugus County, Portville, NY to Find A Grave as time permits. I have added tombstone photos for George, Mina and Bennie Dunning. Note that the date of death on stone appears to be wrong. Stone shows 1928, records show his interment was 27 Nov 1927. He is buried in section B, lot 06NE, grave #5 in case you wanted to add to Find A Grave. On the big stone Dunning is on one side and Bixby on the other. "Merry Christmas" Mark Weitzel

Request a picture of the marker for Dennis Ray Deatherage if found at Rose Hill Memorial Cemetary, Tampa Florida. This is where the death certificate says he is buried.

Thank you

Wife of Henry H Henderson

the slab merely says that she was the wife of HHH, not that she is actually there...I have seen the stone and the others are similar...
this record should be deleted...

James W. Davis
I visited the Holland Cem. today but could not find James or Mary Agnes. When the snow melts more, they may be discovered. I added some other Davis families in case they are related.
