Marty Marion 67236979
Marty Marion was born in Richburg, S.C. (Chester Co.) at the home of his grandfather who was a physician. His brother Red Marion was a baseball player. They were both born in Richburg. Please link Marty 67236979 to his parents John Wyeth Marion 90702017 and Mellu Martin Marion 90702030. Thank you for all your help with this memorial. The Marions are a well known family in Chester County and have a large number of descendants.

John McDermott
RE: Prof. JOHN F. McDERMOTT Transfer
I had forgotten that next year is the 250th Anniversary of the founding of St. Louis. That is quite an honor to have my grandfather listed as one of the distinguished regional historians. Your gesture is greatly appreciated, and I will pass this information on to other relatives.
Thanks again for transferring Dr. McDermott's memorial to me. I also contacted Susan Ing, and she was kind enough to transfer some of the other McDermott's in Memorial Park to me. Now I must get around to linking them up and filling in details and photos.
The future lunch date idea sounds great. If you get to central Pennsylvania before I get back to St. Louis, please be sure to look me up. Sally and I live in State College, just a stone's throw away from the Penn State Univ. campus.

RE: Msgr. Anthony
I added the photo. The picture is pretty small so the quality is not very good. If you get a better one, let me know and I'll remove this one.

RE: Harry Keough
Max: As this is now a "Famous" memorial, I no longer manage it. Findagrave does. They are the only one who can change it. There is a thread on the Famous Forum where they are trying to find out where the unknown burials really are. Coach Keough is one of those. I would put your information there. That should get the desired result.

Sorry I live in Texas, don't know when I'll be back in the St. Louis area.

RE: Msgr. Jerome O. Sommer #101164628
I took care of your request. The photo was not very large, so it's not the best, but not too bad either. It appears that the memorial is being considered for "Famous" status. That means that, while I have added the photo, you may not be able to see it until the site administrators have approved it. If you cannot see it now, check back in a few days.

I must have misread your request. I don't get over that way - so maybe some one closer will be able to photograph it for you. Good Luck!

Faherty at Calvary cemetery

I know that the photo was not good. The area he is buried in was quite muddy. I am there almost every weekend. I will try in about a week or two and see if I can get a better photo.

RE: Monsignor Gerald Kaiser
I was wondering if you knew if Monsignor Gerald Kaiser was ever working out of St. Rita's Parish in Vinita Park Missouri, particularly in the 1940's? I am trying to see if this is indeed the same Monsignor Gerald Kaiser that was my uncle's godfather.

Max, I've added both to Msgr. Doerhoff's memorial. The photo is very small. If you ever get a better one, I'll add it for you.

Jim Tipton
RE: Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.
He was a favorite author of mine and I would love to know where he ended up so that might, one day, make a visit. But, at this time, we have not received any solid info on where he is buried. A mystery he would have surely appreciated!
