Is there any way to get a current photo of Leon Finkelstein's gravestone? He is buried in the United Hebrew Cemetery. The picture you took is from 2002. I am trying to determine if he is the right Leon Finkelstein that I am looking for. Thanks

|tofftroy||Pareira & DeGroot|
There's some DeGroots listed as being at Berith Sholom Cemetery, Troy, NY. I don't know if there's any Pareiras there; haven't been there yet personally.
There's a number of fallen stones at Beth Emeth Cemetery (old), inscription-side down, some all in Hebrew, and likely some that are overgrown. It's possible there's more Pareiras there; I've been offered some help in translating the Hebrew-only stones this Spring.

Oh, my...I AM sorry!! You're right! My mind just didn't register the different generations!! That's what I get for trying to think without the proper amount of coffee in the old blood stream!!!

|Phil & Kathi||Jacob Creth Creek|
I noticed you had put a message on the memorial of Jacob Creth Creek at the Smithville Cemetery in Clay County, Missouri. The memorial states he and his wife were married by Robert James. Sorry to tell you, but that is impossible. The Reverend Robert James died in California in 1850.
Just thought you should know.

|Dawn White||RE: Norris and America|
Hey Cousin, :)
I have very little of the family history left. My parents had stored a bunch of items in a storage unit. It got broken into and all the history was stolen. Any information that you could get to me would be most appreciated. Thank you!
