I am working on the William M. Harris family, he is the grandfather of Sophronia H. Neel, from my research she had ten brothers and sisters. Her mother was the child of William Harris and she was had fifteen brothers and sisters. If you are interested in the Harris family you can google William M. Harris minister and it will give you a gread deal of informnatin on him. He was one of the founders of the Cumberland Presbyterain Church in Kentucky. Hope this will help you.

Nancy: I was wondering where you found the name Sophronia H. O'Neal Rice? When I first saw your entry I thought she had married first O'Neal then Aaron Rice. Could the O'Neal be her maiden name of Neal the daughter of Edward and Polly Harris Neal?

|Colleen Oliver||Minerva Ella Grinslade|
The only thing that I can come up with at this time is a 1920 census.
Name: Minie A Polson
[Minerva E Polson]
Birth Year: abt 1872
Home in 1920: Bentley, Atoka, Oklahoma
Relation to Head of House: Wife
Marital Status: Married
Spouse's Name: George W Polson
Father's Birthplace: Indiana
Mother's Birthplace: Indiana
Attended School: No
Able to Read: No
Able to Write: No
Neighbors: View others on page
George W Polson 69
Minie A Polson 48
Elve Lee Polson 15
I looked for a 1880 census for her but, to no avail. Her father was Benjamin Grinslade and her mother was Mary Catherine Bemis. They are found in a 1870 census in Van Buren, Indiana. She did go my Minnie most of the time.
Thank you for your time and efforts.

|fam2find||Felts Family Line|
My Felts line goes back through my grandmother LouElla Francis Felts, daughter of George D Felts (and Mary Elizabeth Nelson), son of Isham (Isom) Buell Felts and Susannah Brown.
George D was child #6 married to Mary Elizabeth Nelson; child of Susan Cooper and Joel Nelson. Is this clear as mud. I found your FindAGrave entry and was excited, to say the least. I have been searching since 1959 and still lost much of the time.
My Isham Buell Felts goes to William J Felts (1768) to Aaron P Felts and Mollie Collier; to William Felts and Sarah; William's parents were Humphrey Felts and Eleanor Francis and that is where I stop. I would appreciate some direction I might go from here.
Thank you so much for any hint I can obtain. Where did the Ladd come in at?

|Richard Moberly||Silas Clark and his wife|
I have transferred Silas Clark and his wife to your care. My philosophy is to provide as much information on the memorials as possible to help their loved ones find them and further their knowledge of their family. I will consider transferring any memorial to anyone who is related or loves and will care for that memorial. We are all a team documenting information about the people we memorialize on Findagrave. I do not care about numbers. I care about sharing and getting as much information out there as possible. If I have any other memorials that will help you in your research for your family or those you are assisting, don't hesitate to contact me. Thank you for doing it through the edit tab. It makes it so much easier and quicker to fulfill a request.
Thank you for serving our great country. You are appreciated.

I found you thru memorials that Stan has created at the same cemetery that you have memorials, Cox. I went thru the contributors that have memorials also listed there and you caught my attention from the beginning! That is also how you will find Stan Metts, he has been a complete joy to work with and I am sure you will enjoy also!

Thank you so much Nancy for the memorial you put together for my dad. You did an awesome job with that, appreciate that more than you know. I want to show this to my wife and if we need to add anything, will let you know shortly. He had a couple of accomplishments in the Army that were not well known, and my dad didn't talk about them much. I want to make sure those things are mentioned. And some historical data related to his military service. Thanks for contacting me, glad you are doing well. Will keep in touch. Take care and God bless!!

|kdkb||RE: Northwest Cemetery - Athol, Ma|
Nancy, just click on the map tab at the top of the cemetery page and it will show where the cemetery is - I did not name this cemetery - it is named on Google maps - there is no sign there. Also, I believe it is in David Lambert's book on Massachusetts cemeteries, but I don't have access to that book at this time - I did find several grave photos I took there in my files so perhaps I will get them entered in the next few weeks - got several other things on my plate right now.

|Philip Johnson||Re: Hosea B Rice|
Found his records.
He died of Brights Disease 6 JAN 1892 in Athol, buried in Orange. ref Athol death records, page 517.
Since he was a Civil War Vet, they placed a headstone at North Pond Cemetery in Orange, Mass. I do not know where that one is.
