Yes, he is very handsome.
Did you know that he had another portrait painted in 1820? It is very rare and was sold in an auction 10 or 15 years ago and is now in a private collection. I am searching allover for it. No-one even knows about it. I only know that it is from the opposite angle of the 1816 portrait and it was painted during his illness.

Thanks 4 ur reply. I always like 2 know different people's opinions of John and I said exactly the same thing about Byron being jealous. I think he was scared bcos he knew that John was more than capable of being better than Byron in many ways.
Do u have a book called Poor Polidori? Its very rare and I'm searching 4 it allover! Thats another thing I always ask people about!
