You are welcome for the obituary.
I don't live in Mississippi, I was born and raised there. This is where my roots are and where I do my genealogy work.
I try to keep up with the loved ones that are passing on and add them to Find A Grave or help complete their memorial if they already have one. I love this work.

William Holly
Theodore Chambers & his dad
I have just, per your request, transferred Ira Theodore Chambers and his dad to you per your request. I am no relation to them but had worked with Theodore when we were both State Troopers in Natchitoches, Louisiana. I'm always, almost, willing to transfer memorials to family members as I often create memorials for veterans and others nearby graves in which I am interested. Regards, Bill

Hi, just saw this!

I have a few who did, but most did not. There are very few immediate family members/descendants in the U.S.

Royal Descent
HI, Justin -
Since you are looking at the Royal ancestors, I thought you would appreciate this fun fact. Two of our ancestors, William the Conqueror (through Peter Bulkeley) and Rhys ap Tewdwr, King of Deheubarth/South Wales (through Jane Allen), were contemporaries and great friends. I find it very interesting that the lines of these two kings and friends came together to produce common descendants through the Bulkeley/Allen union.

Here is the ancestry of Jane Allen to Rhys ap Tewdwr:
her mother, Mary Fairclough > Lawrence Fairclough > Thomas Fairclough > Lawrence Fairclough > Grace Standish > Oliver Standish > Constance Gerard > John Gerard > Thomas Gerard > Peter Gerard > William Gerard > William Gerard > William Gerard > William Gerard > Fitz William > Fitz Gerald > Nesta Princess of Deheubarth > Rhys ap Tewdwr King of South Wales

Regards,
Jv

Rebecca Hubbard Barrett
HI, Justin -

Thanks. I am aware of Rebecca's descent from royalty via the Peter Bulkeley (1583 -1658) line. Of course, we are descended from his first wife, Jane Allen, herself a descendant of William I 'the Lion' King of Scotland (1143 - 1214).

Keep your eye out for a potential pitfall with Peter's son (Rev.) and grandson (Esq.), both named Peter, and born in 1643 and 1640, respectively. We descend from Edward's son Peter (Esq.), born in 1640. I was lucky to see his purported house (known as the Reuben Brown House) in Concord this past July.

Have fun with your research.
