Do you have a photo of Mrs. Steffey in Pleasant Hill Cemetery? I have a photo from the Royse City Cemetery with the same info for her. I can't find any other family. Thanks for your help in this matter.

Judith & Henry's graves are in Row 14. The large Loutsenhizer monument(family plot area) with the small unreadable stones are in Row 9. This cemetery is not big. Kim

Hello again...seems there is one huge Loutsenhizer monument in the Old Brush Creek Cemetery with approx. 8 broken, unreadable small stones that belong to it. You could call the Brush Creek Cemetery in Irwin, PA and inquire as to those names if you are interested. Just ask for the OLD Brush Creek Cemetery records. Back in the day, the Brush Creek Ceme. would not admit Germans into their main cemetery, therefore they were put in a smaller cemetery several miles away, thus the OLD Brush Creek Cemetery. I got that info years ago straight from a 90 something year old lady that used to maintain records at Brush Creek. :-)

Not researching this family, just came across an original list of all those buried in the Old Brush Creek Cemetery... with dates. I noticed the year difference. I just added about 190 names to this cemetery. The list seems complete now minus the broken, unreadables of course. Have a good one!! Kim

You just made a photo request for 2 Wagners @ Birch Hill. (I won't be able to get out till the foot of snow here melts!) I was just wondering if you'd like to have them transferred to you. I'm not related to anyone in Mifflin County so if you'd like to "adopt" any of my memorials, feel free to ask. I really don't want to be responsible for them I'm just posting them to help others.

That's a very good question, Jeff! He was listed in both places. I will have to ask someone at the Historical Society but my guess is that he was actually buried in one place then a memorial marker was placed in the other spot. (Which is which, I don't know.) When I do find out, I'll make the notation and let you know.

You're welcome...I'll probably be there again in the future so will keep looking. If you could find any info on Sec - Row - Plot to give me that would be a big help as it's a rather good size cemetery for me to walk.

Sorry it wasn't a better photo but many of the stones in that cemetery are weathered and mildewed and hard to read. I was only able to "read" Jacob's like Braille because it was next to his wife's and I could see some of the lettering up close and "feel" the rest of it to be sure it was his stone.

I was out there Friday and look twice for the photo request listed but could not find them, I had knee surgery so could not to a full search but looked at most of them. On Saturday I got the contact number Cliff Hughes (903) 396-7500 he can tell you if they are there, plot number and location this would help for someone doing a photo request at Long Prairie Cemetery. I am 351 miles away from it but went this weekend to find some of my family buried in that area. Blessings, Dave

You are very welcome!!!
I am still working on your Rutlegdes in Hayden Cemetery. The problem is that it sits on a property line & part of the cemtery has been turned up. I am still trying to gain permission.

It may be a while before I get a chance to post it, but I've gone ahead and claimed it. I've got over 875 photos I'm currently working on posting and his is one of them.
You may be related to somebody I was engaged to at one time. Her last name was Eaton too and her father is buried in the same cemetery. It's a long story on that one, though, and I won't post it here. LOL.

I found 2 other Steffey's in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. I went ahead and posted both pictures. There was 1 other marked between the 2 other Steffey's in the cemetery, but it did not have a name on the marker. Other than the ones I just mentioned, I did not find any other Steffey's in the cemetery. I will go ahead and post the picture of the headstone without a name to Mahala Steffey's memorial. If you would like for me to delete it, please let me know. Thanks.

There are 4 other names on Laura's headstone,
Edward DeWalt(1878-1900), Edna DeWalt (1889-1891), Jacob H. (1852-1932), Mary B. (1859-1905).
Would you like photo's of them also?

I have added a diagram of the graves located in the Wilkerson Poarch Cemetery. There are no markers left on the graves of John and his three wives. The cemetery has been torn up and the fence gone.

I want you to know how much my family and I APPRECIATE YOUR WORK! I don't get a chance to get to the cemetery since I live so far away so this means alot to me. I had forgotten what the headstone said so thanks for letting me know. I look forward to the new pictures. Also, thanks for posting your picture (with your helper) so than I could put a face to the kind deed.
