The family bible is for sale at a huge antique store in Arizona. I will need to go there and get the case number/inventory number to send to you as well as the store contact info. I can do this Saturday morning. I think there is a two hour difference. I did ask if they took credits cards over the phone and they do. Sorry I did not look at the price. Five of the eight pictures are identified one was Lizzie Nash VanDeman. The bible itself needs restoration, the spine is missing the covers are detached. There are the normal pages you find in bibles, one for marriages, two for births and one for deaths all filled in beautiful writing in old ink. I hope you decided to get it if not please pass on the info. To someone who may be able to purchase it. I think Kate was the adopted daughter, not sure. Is this the only way to contact you?

Are you related to this family? I think her father was John Lawson VanDeman mother Rebecca P Wilson. The reason I am asking is that I found the family bible (1863) for sale at an antique store in Arizona. The information differs a little from what is on Find A Grave. The treasure is there are eight family photos including an adopted daughter. Please let me know if you know of anyone that would be interested and I will send you the details. Thank you for your time.

I've noticed that you've been taking photos in Wapello Cemetery and have captured images of some Winder headstones. I was wondering if you by chance have taken photos of any of them in location near one another? Thanks for taking these photos by the way! I know how time consuming it is photographing a cemetery.

|Susan Myers Goettsch||Looking for a grave|
Do you know if there are any unmarked or unreadable graves in this cemetery? My great-great grandparents, John Gregg Myers and Eliza Jane Saylor Myers are buried there. The cemetery is on what used to be their land. I am trying to determine where John Gregg Myers' father, Joseph Myers, is buried. I found information saying he died in Washington County, but I cannot find his grave in any of the cemeteries.
Thank you for any information you can give me.

Thank you for taking the time to photo these graves. I would like to know if these graves are adjacent, if so, I think that this should be John Goss (1849- 1929) and his wife Elizabeth Slee Goss (1850 - ?) Again thank you for all your assistance.
