This was my maternal grandfather and he was shot and killed on White Oak by his neighbor. I will not pretend that my grandfather was a kind man. I remember going to where he is buried but, his headstone was the only one there. This was suppose to be a family cemetary and I was appauled when we could not find the rest of our relatives. I was wondering if you could ask someone in Estill County, if they know where he is laid to rest. Thank you so much for your time. Sharon

Huddleston's
Are you descended from Charles Benner and Luella Huddleston? If so, I have a lot of Huddleston ancestry for you. I see you have included info on Charles and Luella in the Earlham Cemetery. I'm one of the many descendants of Jonathan Huddleston, and Phebe Gardner, so of course we must be related. I started updating the Huddleston descendants in 1971 and our ancestors, back to King Edward Ist of England. I use to come to the Huddleston Reunions in
the 70's but then couldn't make it anymore, now I live in the Los Angeles, CA area.

Question
Do you think the Restoration program will be taking on Franklin Cemetery or Old Centerville Cemetery? If so, I would love to help with transcriptions and learn how to do what you guys are doing. I visited Franklin and Old Centerville both last night and it just breaks my heart. There are so many cemeteries in this sort of shape, it's just so sad.

Bladen Ashby
Hello!
I'm really new at this. We have discovered that a Rev War soldier who was also with George Rogers Clark is buried in Wayne County, IN. I found a picture of a cemetery, but would love to visit in person. His name was Bladen Ashby, born in 1759, died in 1829. Can you help me?
Thank you so much!!!!!!!

Rachel (DeVore) Colvin
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Because of your efforts I have found Aunt Rachel and her entire family all buried in the Arba Cemetery. She has remained somewhat of a mystery for many years and no one seemed to know what became of her after the family left Ohio, but thanks to you the mystery is solved. Thank you very much and the pictures are fantastic.

Bless your hearts. I am doing some research for my future sister-in-law and never expected to find her ancestors on Find a Grave. William and Charity are her third great grandparents! Keep up the excellent work. One little problem, you have Charity's date of death on both their memorials.
