Albert Eugene Simpson #7914012
Hi -- I notice that there are two different Find-A-Grave records for my Uncle, Albert Eugene Simpson. The number of the record you created is 7914012. The number of the record that was created by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission is 56122453. If there is a way these two records can be merged, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Patti Driscoll

Selden Lindsey #8657119
I meant to mention that I'm not sure where you got the picture, but your source was, ultimately, from me, as I own the original of all photographs of Selden T. Lindsey. Of course mine have been put on and have been shared with numerous cousins. The only stipulation is that the photo of Selden as depicted in our book about him ("Selden Lindsey U.S. Deputy Marshal," pub. in 1990, 2nd ed 1993) is copyrighted, such that it may not be used in any publication without written permission. (It's a full body photo, he is seated, holding the .38-56 Winchester carbine that brought down Bill Dalton on 8 June 1894.) Thanks, Gloria Reck, Eureka, CA

Selden T. Lindsey #8657119
Could you please delete this entry? It is a duplicate of #9547696 created by a.richard, whom I have requested a transfer of this entry to me. Selden Lindsey was my great grandfather; your data is very minimal and entry #9547696 has almost sufficient data. Not sure why there are duplicate entries for Selden. Almost all my Lindsey family (including Selden's mother and children) are in this Block 11 of Rose Hill Cem, Ardmore, Carter Co. OK. I would like to enter complete, correct data for Selden Lindsey, and can do so if a.richard complies by transferring #9547696 to me. Thank you, Gloria Reck, Member #47206933

Linda Hedlund
S. D. Wade
His initials are actually S. C. Wade. I know from the photo it is hard to see this. I verified this by going to the California Death Index 1905 - 1929 and found him on document #11288 as Wade, Clemons S. He also sometimes went by his middle name of Clemons. The dates are correct for both him and his wife, Ella Hite Wade. I wonder if you have a larger photo of their gravestone. I realize it is possible that the gravestone has his middle initial wrong.
Also, would you please link the two together.

Thank you

Donna Ellison
Humphrey Cem. (Martindale Tx)
Hi, William! I keep getting requests for photos for Col. James Ellison at Humphrey Cemetery. he is actually buried at San Marcos City Cemetery,(San Marcos, Tx, Hays Co.Tx). I saw you wonderful memorial but there seems to be some confusion about it. There are also memorials made for James and his wife, Evelyn at San Marcos with photos added.
My husband is David Ellison but we don't know if he's related to this line. Supposedly David's line goes back to S. Carolina and Scotland.
Anyway, hope this helps but it probably means more work for you!

Dorothy Page
There doesn't seem to be a way to add biographical information on the Findagrave page for Dorothy Page, memorial #7248262. May I request the following information be added? Thank you.

While majoring in music at Cedar Crest College in Pennsylvania, she was chosen by the Curtis Publishing Company of Philadelphia as a model for a Saturday Evening Post cover. Dorothy's portrait was painted by the famous portrait painter Neysa McMein as "one of America's ten most beautiful women". On July 3, 1925, Dorothy married Waldo Shipton in Detroit, Michigan. She gave birth to two daughters, Barbara Jane in 1926, and Dolores Maryann, in 1929. They divorced in 1932. After auditioning for the Paul Whiteman orchestra, she was chosen as their principal vocalist and she became a star on NBC radio in Detroit, Chicago, and New York. On December 20, 1939, in Las Vegas, Dorothy married Los Angeles attorney Frederick D. Leuschner. They resided on his ranch in Tarzana, California, until his death from a heart condition on December 8, 1941. A few years later, while working as a Real Estate agent in Hollywood, Dorothy met and married Henry Clark McCormick. They lived on his ranch in Fresno, California until she was diagnosed with cancer in the mid-fifties. He divorced her shortly after and she moved to La Belle, Florida, where she received treatment in the medical center at Fort Myers until her death from cancer in 1961.

Memorial# 8017286 William S. Brown
William S. Brown was born February 12, 1812, Montreal, Canada. He travelled directly to Texas from Canada to join Col. Fannin. He never lived in the United States. He was captured by Mexican forces while travelling from New Orleans to Texas on board the schooner Hannah Elizabeth, then imprisoned at Matamoras until his release was secured by David Smith, Consul of The U.S.A. at Matamoras. He finally joined Col. Fannin and was slaughtered at Goliad March 27, 1836.

Moses Cox
I created a duplicate memorial by mistake for Moses Cox #17166452. It was just brought to my attention. Mine has quite a few family links. I hated to delete it and have to try to recreate the links. I would gladly do what you think is best. I was thinking just to transfer it to you. Let me know.

Cynthia Claytonroberts
Jacob & Electa (Hills) Marty
Please excuse me for using your public page for requesting the transfer of Jacob Marty # 18147379, the earliest emigrant of my Marti-Marty ancestors from Switzerland to Green County, Wisconsin, and his wife, Electa (Hills) Marty # 18147371 whom he married there in 1849. Thank you ever so much for adding their memorials, they're a long way from home and from their property in Kansas. There's a lot to be added and linked to them but their edit tabs elicit no response.
