Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I just saw the photo work you did of my Uncle John and Aunt Mildred's gravesite and I just can't thank you enough.

Hi Bob and Ann,
I married into the Carby family many years ago and am currently working on some family history. I have run across at least two male Carby's that have the middle name and I'm wondering if you know where the connection is?
Thanks! Pat Carby

|Karen Vile||Linking Relatives|
I am the great-great-granddaughter of William Thomas Johnston (#68848469)and Martha Ann White Johnston (#68902595). I notice you have their daughter linked to them but not one of their sons - John A (Abb) Johnston (#68848469). Can you please link these?
There is another son in the same graveyard but someone else is the owner of that and not sure how to connect them. B. Thomas Johnston (Benjamin Thomas or Uncle T) #7505890 who shares his grave with his wife - Mary F (Mary Francis Pierce) #7505893.
Thank you for your information and work on this. It is greatly appreciated.

Isn't the Sarah Elizabeth West Alvey you have listed as Robert C. Mosby's mother on his FindAGrave memorial actually Sarah Elizabeth West Mosby Alvey?
Also, I'm looking for a Charles "Charlie" Alvey of either Perry or Spencer County. I'm guessing he was born between 1897 and 1900. When my mother was very young--13 or 14--she was "sweet" on Charlie Alvey before she met then married my father. I've located a photo of her with a young man I believe to be Charlie Alvey. Would be happy to share. Hoping you might have a photo to compare with mine so I can correctly identify the young man. Thank you.

Thanks for leaving virtual flowers for my mother. Josephine Sedig. Her father was like your wife's family from Ischia and eventually settled in San Pedro. I feel like every other person in San Pedro is my cousin or knew my nonna Emma and our family. Thanks cousins!

I would just like to thank you for all the time and effort you put into the site. I liked the idea of finding out about relatives I had forgotten about, names and when they were born and passed. Great info.

Hi Bob and Ann
Thanks for the fast reply. The parents obviouly died before 1880 since Howerton C. and John Milton are both residing with their sister, Ann R. and her husband William B. Baker. (both buried in Mayo Cemetery).
I know that you have a huge database but if you come across anything, please keep me in mind.
Your help is sincerely appreciated,

Just wanted to say hi. We emailed a good while back regarding Wm. H. Alvey and Mary E. Lamar.
I still have not located their burials but have connected some of the children. Findagrave
has been such a help!

|aspring||RE: Alvey's died in the house fired in Florida|
I found the articles through the local library online. For some reason Google Newspaper Archives doesn't even have them even though they have The Sun.
I will e-mail them to you. However, just so you don't think they are junk mail, it will show as coming from ProQuest with an attachment. And it looks like I have them do them one at a time. I will send you the three I found.

Is he related to you and if so do you know anything about his first wife Annabelle (Belle) Harp. I believe she was an older sister to Catherine. All evidence points to her dying between 1886 and 1891. Do you have anything on her? Would appreciate any help you can offer.

You are a jewel! The pictures that you provided to all of the Memorials for the Buckles, Chenaults and Skee families are extremely valuable.
It is tremendously helpful to be able to view an actual picture of these gravesites as one does research on their ancestors.

Just a short note to say: Thank you so much for all the work you did on the Trani's. I went to school (Mary Star) with some Trani & De Meglio girls back in the early 70's and have always loved the Trani family. You did a fantastic job on the research, photos and all. It is truly appreciated.

ps. Someday I hope I become half as diligent & competent as you at contributing to the site.
