ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

Elizabeth Dunning
I believe the Elizabeth Dunning, 5774320 that you made has been duplicated. There is an Elizabeth Dunning, 11033175 in the Old Clove Cemetery who has the same date of death and spouse. They also have a photo of the headstone to verify the information they have on their memorial page. Is there some way you can verify your info to ensure there was no confusion in the Cemetery names? I don't live in New Jersey, but I know how difficult it is to clarify cemeteries with like names.

Regards,

Pat Baker

Apparently nothing has happened sense you got the ball rolling. You may need to start again or call the Evart VFW.

Your welcome for the photo. Re: the middle initial, looking at the photo again I could go either way. If you have other docs that say "C". I'd send a edit request to the memorial manager. If you want I can change the caption on the photo.

Davenports In Jefferson Cemetery

All of your Davenport memorials are duplicates
of Memorials entered in May of 2007, please
go through all entries made in Jefferson Cemetery and remove all duplicate memorials and do a search for the name in future additions of memorials you would like to post. You seem to
be getting a lot of these types of notices from other find a grave members.

Hi

Not sure if your aware or not but your memorial
#39860498 is a duplicate of #19506619 that was created over two years prior to yours along with one for Adrian Davenport #39860844. I am not the duplicate memorial police just a person trying to make ancestral research easier. I am sure
Donna would transfer the memorial to you if you
contacted her. She is a very nice lady or you could just ask her to add your information under the edit link for the memorial

Addie Wells Knetsch
Hi Dorothy,

I am preparing to visit Wyoming Cemetery, in Paw Paw, IL and I ran across a duplicate entry that you added/manage. Addie Wells Knetsch, Find A Grave Memorial# 5766962 and Addie Nellie Wells Knetsch, Find A Grave Memorial# 70167179. The second one is linked to her husband and the first one is not. Can you correct this, please? Thanks. - Rick

When you do a search for a person's memorial
on Begin a new search down towards the bottom
there is place to put the memorial number.
The person I was refering to is Ernest Weldon Kitsmiller at Jefferson cemetery. He is also listed
as E. Weldon. You can see a photo of the headstone
on that memorial in 2008 by Donna

to you if your a relative or if it is additional
information from your memorial is the reason of the duplicate you can just ask her and she will
add this info for you.

RE: Other Duplicates
Hi! It looks like the duplices are gone now, but I will verify this evening.

Also, I am waiting to hear back from Stella Grobe - I left her a message yesterday.

Most of the genealogytrails website for Melugin-Robinson has been cleaned up as well.

Thanks for all of your help in ensuring accurate information is online for these cemeteries!

Other Duplicates
Hi! I also found four other duplicate profiles at Melugin Grove that I am hoping you will remove. I sent the request through Find A Grave so you should receive an e-mail regarding them. If you don't please let me know.

Can you please tell me where you found the 1987 cemetery reading for the Old Melugin Cemetery that you referred to in your previous message? I would like to add it to my notes.

By the way, Stella Grobe is a researcher at the Lee County Historical Society.

Thank you! Ace

Duplicate Profiles at Melugin-Robinson Cemetery
Hi!

Two of the people that you transferred to me are duplicates. I am wondering if you can delete them. FindAGrave will not let me delete them because I did not create them.

They are Clara Carnahan and Jasper Carnahan at Melugin-Robinson Cemetery, and a link to each is below.

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GScid=2463417&GRid=99524317&

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GScid=2463417&GRid=99524155&

The creation dates of the other memorials with these names are a couple of months earlier, and per Find A Grave rules the earlier memorial is the one that should remain.

Thank you!

RE: Melugins & others
Thank you for going through and finding all of the differences. It is hugely appreciated! I had not had time to do that, and now I don't have to find them.

I e-mailed Chris at geneologytrails.com and she has agreed to update the Melugins / Robinson page. After e-mailing back and forth I think she is going to incorporate all of the changes I suggested. She was completely unaware of there being two cemeteries in the county with the name Melugin in the name (or that they are down the street from each other).

Earlier today I finished putting on the Melugin-Robinson portion of Find A Grave all of the graves that I found there. There are probably some in the list that you sent me that do not have grave markers. I am going to see if I can find a source for the other names that are missing from the current Find A Grave Melugin-Robinson Cemetery.

Thanks again for the transfers and your information. Having this corrected will hopefully help others in the future. Best wishes for a great week! Ace

P.S. Notice that all of the obituaries shown for the Melugin /Robinson Cemetery on genealogytrails.com are after 1888 which is the date of the last known grave marker at the cemetery. More than likely these graves were actually placed at Melugin Grove (Brooklyn). I will try to confirm this.

Melugins
Hi! Thanks for your notes and comments.

I went here: http://www.genealogytrails.com and then to here:

http://www.genealogytrails.com/ill/lee/leecemeteries.html

I did not see Melugin Grove Cemetery listed. Did I miss something or not go where you went?

I really would like to see if this can be corrected. Thanks again for your help. Ace

RE: Atkinson et. al.
Two Melugin's: It is confusing with the two cemeteries being so close to each other. Possilby Melugin-Robinson was originally named Melugin Grove until the "New" Melugin Grove opened up?

I should have pictures of all of the graves you transferred to me up by Monday evening.

I put a fairly detailed note up on the Melugin-Robinson Cemetery front page. I am thinking about doing the same for Melugin Grove Cemetery so that these memorials are not recreated. Someone actually put a new burial in Melugin-Robinson instead of Melugin Grove a while back. This also has now been straightened out.

Thank you for helping place these memorials in the correct location. It is very appreciated.

Hi! Likewise, James Moore and Jessie Bowers are also buried at Melugin-Robinson Cemetery.

Please transfer the memorials to Melugin-Robinson and add the photo requests for them. Thank you! Ace
