RE: Bummy and Lolly's folks
Thanks! I thought Find A Grave had finally fixed that glitch, but apparently not.

RE: Sarah (Hoyles) Warburton
Hi Craig-

I'm adding information to memorials from funeral home records (transcribed). I don't always trust all the information - for example, they had her maiden name as Hayles, not Hoyles, but that didn't match what I was seeing in other records (from during her lifetime) on Family Search.

Anyway, it did list her father as Alfred, but her mother's name was not listed at all. Of course, funeral home records, like death records, are only as good as the memories of those left behind. It only showed a birth year, too - so no more than you already had, which is too bad.

I did do a quick search on Family Search and found a Sarah Hoyles, born in 1884 in Bolton (not so far from Blackpool). In the 1901 Census, there are both an Alfred and a Sarah Hoyles, living in Bolton. But, since I can't see the original document, I can't see if they are in the same family. Hoyles seems to be a common name in Bolton in that census. Anyway, if you have a paid subscription (or know someone who does), you might check that out. In 1901, Sarah is 16, and Alfred is 55. Certainly possible.

Good luck!
