Mary Elizabeth Hayward Sternberger (1863 - 1958)*

I find no marriage for him and always shows up single in census records, plus he was in the Civil War and have found no record of a wife's pention.

One more question Eli M Wheeler is son of James and Emily Morris Wheeler and had a brother Drury Wheeler. In 1900 census he lived with his COUSIN who I thought was his brother Drury N Wheeler......question pls where is Elis brother Drury Wheeler as it seems Drury N Wheeler married to Frances Long is a cousin and who is the cousins parents?

Lots of thanks if you can tell me!

His obituary can be found in the Chariton Courier 2-25-1910, page 1. Again, not related, just passing the obit while reading the paper.

RE: William C Vandiver
William Vandiver's obituary is in the Chariton Courier newspaper 12-31-1909 on page 2. The Chariton Courier is online on the Library of Congress site "Chronicling America" American Historic Newspapers. I am not related. I am reading this paper gathering more info on my own family but, hate passing by obits that contribute to families that have some info on Find A Grave.

Ronnie Green
Keytesville days
Charlie, have drafted several msgs but can't seem
to get them to ur net address. Anyway, Ron Green. We were in classes in 3rd/4th Grade!
Believe it was Mrs Carpenter and Mrs Drace, but
I'm old and forgetful. U may remember me as the
kid that sunk some Hawk talons in Dixie's leg!
When I get homesick for Mo I usually end up on
the KHS page and check up on what wud've been
My class of '61 if Mom and Dad hadn't moved to
NKC. Been tracking "roots" and ur name keeps
popping up. I just wanted to say Thanks for
ur effort. Found a lot of Greens, Chranes,
Darrahs, Mundens, Hersheys, etc. and things
I'd heard about prior to Navy departure in
1961, but didn't know what context they were
in, i.e. I always thought Kenny Huddle was a
family friend, but turns out we were cousins!
Pete Huckabey and I used to get up to high
jinks too, but weren't related. Another
I remember was Pat O'Brian. Her family lived
outside of town on Rt 5...must be quite near
the KHS I think. Anyway, wud be good to hear
from u up here in Maine, if u have time from
roaming the cemeteries.....I've noted a few
from my family not logged at the Keytesville
Cemetery. Maybe we can compare notes....Thanks
again for your effort! Ron Green
