The gravestone connected to this memorial says that David B. Sipperly died 1815, but the text says he died in 1845

What I would like is a close up of the marker so that I can read the names and dates. The present photo isn't very clear and so if you could move in closer and show the face better, it would be greatly appreciated.

I was wondering if there are any other McElyeas buried in the Mount Avon Cemetary. We have been searching for many years for my Uncle Gerald. Trying to figure out if this might be him.

I hope you took a photo of the family monument for the parents. If you did, would you please post that photo to each of the children's memorials as they are listed on the parents memorials or as siblings to each other.

Thanks for taking a photo of their markers. Am now curious to know if there is a "family" monument with the surname on it somewhere in the vicinity because without the surname on the markers how does one know these belong to them. The photos you took are appreciated, just need to know if if there is a surname monument and if so, did you take a photo and would you please post to their memorials. Thanks.

I'm a retired doc living in Calumet, Michigan. I have done paper genealogy on the Fourniers of Gentilly-Hancock, and also have matched with cousins through Ancestry.com's DNA test. I'm trying to gather as much info as I can. Can we open a dialogue?

Jeff: thanks so much for your work at Mt. Avon. We had my grandparents (Floyd and Martha Relyea) disenterred from White Chapel and reinterred in our newly purchased family plot at Mt Avon. They were lifelong residents of Rochester, having built and lived in 2 houses on Castell for 25 years before moving north of town for the remainder of their lives. It was important to us to see them returned to the community they were long a part of. So nice to see the picture of the monument. May your goodness be rewarded! Michelle Zeeman
