RE: Hazel Coblentz Henderson
Hello again, Hazel's great grandfather was John Coblentz, my 3g grandfather, so we are 2nd half cousins twice removed. Hazel great grandmother was John's second wife. I descend from his first wife. What can you tell me about Hazel's husband? Do you know when he died and where he is buried? Jane from MI

I am a Coblentz descendant. I will have to look up Hazel's line to tell you how I am related. I was working on the Descendants of Philip Coblentz but had to stop. I do intend to finish. Hazel is a descendant too. I will get back with you later. Jane from MI

"Hi I am puzzled by Martha's cause of death. I am trying to figure out what was written and I have thought of Sarcoma of thyroid as possible. :)"

Thanks Marcia, when you figure out what is written on her Death Certificate, let me know. I'll be happy to correct her memorial. I just cannot read it.

RE: Degarmeaux
I have run into that variation of the surname: however I know not its connection. Bill DeGarmo should know where it fits as he has been tracing the whole line. I believe all variations trace back to Pietre the Vagabond.

RE: Cornelia Degarimore
I'm sorry I don't remember. I took that pic over a year ago. You can call the cemetery and ask if they have any more Degarimores. 620-332-2510

RE: Wonser/Richardson/
Oh yes. My public Ancestry tree showing Ann is here:
When I was younger I looked a lot like her photo. It's not a beautiful face, but it is distinctive. I don't suppose you have any information on her mother, Rachel Lockwood? She's one of my brick walls.

Yes, she was my great grandmother. Why do you ask? Are you related also?

RE: McCandless
Marcia, it just seems as if we are having a problem in connecting our two families. There are and were many of the McCandless family born, raised and died around the Butler County area of Pennsylvania. Basically they were farmers with a few doctors thrown into the mix. They origianlly came from Ireland, but I found none of my side ever settling in the New York area. Unfortunately I have not researched what ship they came on or what U.S. port they finally landed in. Maybe, at a later point, we might find additional information on a connection. Until then, lets keep up the search. Judy

RE: Plot
ALL I HAVE TO GO ON IS HIS DEATH CERTIFICATE AND THE DEATH NOTICE IN THE lAKEVILLE Journal 12/18/73. The death notice said burial was in Mountain View Cemetery and the death certificate said burial was in the Mt. View Cemetery Canaan, CT, under the Newkirk Funeral Home. I have written to the Newkirk Funeral Home and have never received a reply. I will try to find the number and call them and ask if they would have any information. I also wrote to the Mt.View Cemetery and never received a reply. I will try to find more information. I know they are buried there because a relative took a picture of the grave but it is very hard to read.
Thank you,
Roberta Christian
