RE: Neil Johnson
Linda, did Neil Johnson's birth date ever get resolved? I talked to his brother Chip and he confirms that the date May 4th is correct, that May 5th is incorrect.

Remember me
RE: Sumter Cemetery
Jane Baker location Sumter Cemetery, Linda, I'm sorry, but I'm getting old, thought I could remember the stone, but I don't. I looked at the spread sheet I made when making the photos and the names with plot location are not on them, so apparently I deleted, you know Murphy's Law situation. My suggestion, if she will call the cemetery and if lucky enough to get an answer, they can tell her what the plot number is. I have a map that I would be happy to send you if you can find the plot. And if you don't get an answer at the Cemetery, call the Sumter Genealogical Center, ask them to check their survey, and be sure they don't look in the book that they sell, but the book that they got from Sumter Cemetery. The plot should be 0-900 or so since it is an old one. Let me know what you find and I'll send you the map to it. Thanks Don

off the road in the woods behind a gate, 33.722N 80.052W. Sorry you missed it, it's deteriorating.
It's recorded in Clarendon Archives, Manning. Carole

The picture of the stone on this memorial in Union Cemetery, while badly worn, does show the year she was born to be 1751. You have her date of birth as 1771 on the memorial. Is this picture on the wrong memorial - I see you did not add the picture, so perhaps it does not belong on this memorial?

My husband is a descendant of the Bugbee line - Mary A. Dean & husband Jonathan Bugbee are 4th gr-grandparents of his, so not a real close relationship which explains my interest in this memorial.

You put his memorial up like 10 years ago but I just put his daughter Ellen connected to her parents, so you know she survived.

Hurley Markers
Linda,
Thank you so very much for finding the grave markers, removing the grass and dirt that had grown to cover them, taking pictures and posting them. I added flowers in my friend's name as it is his family.
I will be printing the info and pictures of the markers for him to see. He was only 11 when his father died, 17 when his brother died and 19 when his mother died. Then his sister died when he was 25, she was cremated.
Again, thank you for your labor of love in taking care of the cemetery.

Thank you Linda for attempting to find my relatives grave site. It's much appreciated even though it wasn't found. I know how much time that takes to try to fulfill a request.

I sent the creator an edit for future use.
