RE: Re: George Elmer Solo
My information came directly off the death certificate. I thought you were trying to tell me that I did not have the correct last name. I am sorry if I took it differently than your meaning.

Dajek and Michalak
I removed those newly created memorials. Just so you know, i looked at Wyandotte City Death index and that is how the names were spelled. Also the death certificate for baby Stanislaw was spelled as Dajek. So the confusion comes from records and tombstone inscriptions not matching. Also, I do not create memorials if one exists on Find A Grave.

RE: Schaarschmidt family @ Woodmere in Detroit
Yes, Hugo is my Grandfather and Florence Schaarschmidt is my grandmother. Charles is my uncle. There also is another stone nearby for Rev Hugo Schaarschmidt and his family. I really would like to have control of these members of the family. Thanks

Henry Wittenberg Memorial
Thank you Lady in Black for posting this picture of my great-great grandfather and mother's memorial. It was a real asset in helping figure out whether he went by Heinrich or Henry. I have seen this head stone many times as my great grandfather and mother are buried not far away, Frank C Wittenberg and Mabel A Wittenberg.
Thank you again for posting this, it was a real thrill to find it.
You said that you are related to many of the memorials that you photograph, are you by any chance related to Henry Wittenberg?
Thanks Again

Jeff Carney

George T. Burridge
Thank you so much for the pictures of the gravesite for my paternal great-grandfather, George T. Burridge. My Aunt Ann and Uncle Dick (George's grandchildren) and my cousin Janet made the trip to Woodmere a couple of years ago, but even with a map, missed finding the grave. I very much appreciate being able to see the stones are still standing.

Thank you for taking the time to record this. Your work is truly appreciated.

Hello Lady in Black,
I don't know why you chose to photograph this gravesite but it is my great-grandfather's. I am so pleased to see that it is visible and intact! I have not been able to be visit the cemetery in many years and it is surprisingly comforting to see this photo of his gravestone. Thank you for your work!

Hi I am new to this find a grave website. I was on another site that listed my grandfather Happy P Pawelczyk as having a picture and sure enough it was one you took. I didn't know if someone had requested it or why it's on here. Just curious, again, new to this website. Thanks!

HI: I've been discovering all your pictures from Woodmere. Thanks for all your hard work. I didn't realize you were doing so much of Woodmere. Good for you! Thanks for the information on Mt. Carmel. When I get some time, I will check it out. It took you 3 years to photograph that cemetery - what dedication! Keep up the good work...

HI: Thanks for the McCourt picture. Since there is a McCourt monument, aren't Elizabeth's parents buried there? There must be some McCourt family members buried there. I'm surprised there are no names or dates on the monument. It doesn't help...

Thanks so much. Your photos are certainly better photos. She took them for me in winter when the conditions weren't the best. FYI- just this evening I added some photos of the people to some of the graves you photographed...
