| Parker Cemetery, Gaffney SC Hello,
One of my cousins, Emeline Byers Parker, is buried in the Parker Cemetery, Gaffney, Cherokee, South Carolina. Since you created the memorials for this graveyard I was wondering if you could give me driving directions for it's location. I haven't been able to find it's location anywhere on the web. Thanks

My brother is a member at South Park Baptist and one of the pall bears, Paul Williamson, I worked with at Amoco for years, I still see him around Alvin a lot. Thanks for your service on being a volunteer for Find A Grave.

| RE: Thanks for the correction on Hannah Elizabeth Cook Re: # 35188502 Your quite welcome for the heads-up, but Tami G. was the contributor of the death certificate not me. Your not alone in the making errors on dates. I have found many typing and spelling mistakes in my genealogy research over the years. I am very glad for Find a Grave even with the few errors it is the best genealogy source. Thanks for your contributions. ;-)Added by Connie Krueger on Jun 28, 2012 11:23 AM | |

Find A Grave Memorial# 35188502 Hannah Elizabeth Cook
Just a heads up .... the date of death isn't right according to the death certificate and the headstone. You have the 18th, the headstone reads the 8th and the death certificate reads the 7th. Thank you for all your work on Find A Grave. ;-)Added by Connie Krueger on Jun 25, 2012 12:13 PM

| Transfers have been made! May I suggest for the photo you added for the identities of each person in the photo be added since in the future, anyone interested in this family yet not knowing who is who in the front row and in the back will have the advantage of being able to know as many as you can identify. If you don't know each one, identify those you can and where unknown to you place (unknown) and then continue to the next. It will truly create a legacy for their descendants! If you have any questions, please be in touch! May you enjoy!Added by Rain Brings Rainbows on Apr 23, 2012 10:06 AM | |

| RE: Thanks for the plot information for Von & Melba Hoyt There was snow on the headstones this morning and I could not take photos (so I spent a little time getting plot locations at Wasatch Lawn). I get to Salt Lake City once or twice a month, so if someone does not take the Hoyt photo soon, I will try and get to it when I return to SLC.--Garry :)Added by Garry P. on Jan 16, 2012 8:50 PM | |

| Burial site for Mary Elizabeth Edwards Johnson Regarding your entry for Mary Elizabeth Edwards Johnson (# 38079530), you have her as a burial unknown. There is burial information for her on this page: http://jacobjohnsonpioneer.blogspot.com/2009/06/jacob-johnson-pioneer-history_18.html
It says this: "1859 June 25 Mary Johnson dies in Logansport, Cass county, Indiana and is buried in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Logansport Lot 4, row 7, space 4. Her son Edward Johnson and wife Matilda later are buried beside her. Pictures taken by Jennie Lee in 1960 the church, which later burns down, leaving just the cemetery."
In other words, her burial site is the same as her son's. There's also an old photo of her gravestone at that site. :-)

| Eva (Wing) McCoy I just found your memorial page for Oscar Raymond McCoy, (# 57125765). Thank you for posting his obituary, genealogy is a lot more interesting when you have a little information about the person's life, and not just a name and dates.
Do you know if his wife, Eva, is buried on the ranch with him?

MYSTERYAYRES
| RE: Charles Henry Wood I am the Great Granddaughter of Richard Thomas and Mary Emma Wood. So Charles Henry Wood is my great, grandfather. I have been trying to connect him the Wood family in Quincy, IL and hitting dead ends and also the family of Richard A. Thomas..another dead end. Do you know if Henry Wood was Troop D of the 6th Cavalry? If he was an heir to Ex Gov John Wood, then it just baffles me why an heir would go to a barren land of New Mexico. Especially when it wasn't a state yet. The date of his birth and such are not matching with any Wood member on any census. There was Johns son but he died at a young age. But, I found a document that COULD solve the mystery, but open up entire new mess. Its a letter dated 1887 in New Mexico. I was shocked when I read it...but keep in mind only a theory. No proof that this the same man. Scroll to the letter. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/6th_Cavalry_Regiment_(United_States)
Let me know if you cant read it and your opinion. Like I said its a theory.

| Your photo I love it! This obsession with finding our family is challenging, and thrilling when we are successful. Find A Grave volunteers have found many of mine, I'm so thankful.
I also would like to have your poem, if you wouldn't mind sharing. I collect interesting ones that describe how I feel, and put them in my record books. Thank you, DarlaAdded by D. Singleton Shell on Jun 10, 2011 8:42 AM
