Your Book
P.S. I'll have to look up your book on Lincoln Park. I went there once as a child when our family was visiting the MA branch of the family.

David J. McRae
Neville Grave
Hi there -

I'm not sure if I ever thanked you for photographing Ida Mae (Neville) Voter's grave and wanted to do. It was very much appreciated.

I was wondering if you could post the two photos you uploaded to Ida's grave to the memorials of those buried with her. I don't want to do it myself because then Find A Grave would credit me for them.

These are the memorials of those buried with Ida:

- Edward D. Provencal (# 123765709)
- Viola L. Neville (# 123765761)
- James R. Neville (# 121836507)

Thanks again for your help.

Kindest Regards,

David J. McRae

Hi Jim,
That is saying it nicely about Pittsfield. I hatsd it there. I always said that it is appropriately is the pitts!

When e moved to Central Mass, I knew that I could go to New Bedford and back much more easily in a day.

Will write more later...getting ready to go out.

Sikva Pic / Karen
Hi Jim,
It really is a small world!

Actually, I am Karen Fay. I believe that we had the same homeroom for a couple of years.

I am in Central Mass because of my husband's job. We got here via Buzzards Bay, then Pittsfield. These moves were for my husband's job, also. After living in Pittsfield, living in Central Mass is pretty good.....of course, not as good as being in the NB area. NB will always be home to me.

Do you ever go to the reunions or the get togethers that are held twice a year? There was a get together last Saturday night. It's a nice way to reconnect with people in a smaller crowd.

So, how has life been for you?

Silva Picture
Hi Jim,
You have posted a picture of Manuel V. Silva's stone at St John's Cemetery, in New Bedford. I believe the picture is on the incorrect memorial. The dates on the memorial and the picture don't match. It looks like the pic should be on another Manuel Silva's memorial..# 52741345 and the dates on the memorial 1906 - 1964.
The memorial that the pic is on now is # 52741645 and the dates are 1884 - 1964.

Did you graduate from NB High class of '70? If you did, we knew each other back then.

Thank you for the photo of Lionel and Lillian's marker. Also the correction to the plot. This all really helps.

You are a winner! What is really so impressive is how fast you fulfilled my tombstone photo requests, once you claimed them.

It was wonderful that you took photos of other gravestones in the lot. This gave me the names of 3 more children of Isaac & Mary. According to my research yesterday, it is likely that the W. Knowlton is Wellington Case Knowlton (1858-1861), known as "Will", but I have no proper documentation to prove this.

Keep up your good work!

Watson graves, Rural Cem
Jim, thanks very much for visiting the gravesite of David and Ellen Watson. I know the family had little money, and am not surprised that there are no grave markers for the adults. Glad you were able to at least find the one marker for the child. BTW, can the marker be read from any of your photos? I'd like to know what it says. I will correct the location of the lot from South Circuit to East Circuit. Thanks again!
