Would you be interested in adding info on memorials at the Sicily-Rome American Cemetery & Memorial?
I took many pictures of the tablets of the missing and know I can not get them all posted. If interested please email me.

A 1945 accident
Ran across Robert Lloyd Laird, #896982, who died in an airplane accident in Arizona in 1945. Didn't find him in your 1945 virtual cemetery so thought I'd let you know.

Re: Transfers
It sure would be great if every Find A Grave member would adopt your line of thoughtful consideration. Your promptness exceeds the vast majority by far. Also your willingness to transfer memorials to a fellow member is amongst the best I've encountered.
Cooperation being the key to making every memorial a much more meaningful one and ultimately leading to a genealogical success story honoring our ancestors.
Your excellent cooperation is very much appreciated!

Joseph Hartman
Hi Tim- I've transferred Joseph Hartman to you as requested. He is not a relation of mine. I entered him as part of finding the WWII KIAs. When you finish working on him you can either transfer him back or keep management. ....Mary

Your more then welcome. There was three other people in the area that shared there last name. I added memorials for them. They are the following people.
Winnie C Jolley 1862-1946
Linnaeus C Jolley 1849-1934
Esther Muriel Jolley 1907-1929

I hope this helps with filling in some blanks.

Tim - Mabel M. Valk is buried in the Farmington Memorial Cemetery aka Highland View Memorial Gardens just outside Farmington, CA. Here is information I put as part of a caption to a photo I added to her webpage that you created:

According to the California Death Index, Mabel M. Valk was born in Oklahoma on 9 May 1901 (not 1900 per the head stone). Her mother's maiden name was Barksdale. Mabel died in San Joaquin County, CA, on 27 Jul 1955.

You can use the birth and death info to update her webpage.

Yours, Eual D. Blansett, Jr.
