Robert Marshall
Grandfather Tarpley
your grandfather was a member of my masonic lodge in Waco. Would you be willing to share photos and information about him with us to add to our history?

S Steiner
Shrader Line

George Hammond Shrader (1825) was my great great grandfather too. His son William Henry Harrison (1851) was my great grandfather. His son George Hammond Shrader (1896) was my grandfather.

I have been, for quite some time, trying to determine the parents of George Hammond Shrader (1825). I have not been able to find any definitive answers. Do you have any information that could help me?

Thank you.

Elizabeth Ann Dieckman
Relation through Daniel Booker Shrader
Hi and thank you so much for the info. Daniel Booker Shrader was my great grandfather. His son, Weldon Bailey Shrader, was my grandfather.

Weldon, married Velma Tucker, and lived in Dallas until his passing in 1977. He had a son, Robert Weldon Shrader, who currently resides in Ft Myers, Florida. Robert is 82 currently. Weldon also had a daughter, Phyllis Marie Shrader Doring who married, had one son, and passed about ten years ago. Her son, Brian Richard Doring, resides in Austin, unmarried with no children.

My dad, Robert Shrader, was married to Susan Price, who passed in 2001. They had two children. I am Elizabeth Ann Shrader Dieckman(1958), though now divorced, with no children. I have a brother, who may or may not be alive, David Clayton Shrader (1963- ?) who was also divorced and as far as I know also had no children.

We are the last of the Daniel Booker Shrader line.

My dad and I were both born in Dallas, Texas; my brother, in Arlington. We've all moved around quite a bit. Currently, I'm in Webster, Texas.

I am wanting to know how your husband and I are related. Can you please contact me? Enoch was my 4th GGf. My Rice line stayed right here in Jackson County, with my mother being a Rice by birth. Thanks. Looking forward to getting to know you.

Hello Blusummit,

Are you still actively using Find A Grave? I've not received replies to my suggested corrections in over two months. Is your posted email address still accurate? I've emailed many times.

Would like some updates to memorials you own, or get transfers.

Thank you for your time,

Jason Kazmaier

Thank you. I deleted the extra one. For some reason adding memorials with my phone creates duplicates.

RE: Tarpley Graves at Rose Hills
The only Larry Tarpley I know is James Earl Tarpley's son. I lost contact with them years ago when Audy died. I don't know anything about the Tarpley history as my connection to the Tarpley family is through my Aunt Catherine (Zielny). She is my father's sister and married Audy Tarpley. She died in 2008. Sorry I could not be of more help.

Hi, you took a photo for me a while back and it looks like you got the photo of his wives grave as well. Can you give me the date so I can make a page for her. It is very hard to read. Thank you so very much for all your help.

RE: Martin Rice
You can go to google books online and type in Martin Rice. You can download both of the books and print them off if you want.

God Bless,

RE: Martin Rice & family
You are very welcome. When I saw your request, I did a little research on Martin. Did you know that he wrote the first history of the Blue River-Kansas City Baptist Association in 1889?
Did you also know that he had a part in writing the History of Jackson County, Missouri? It was very interesting to me that a man of such age was so involved in all this history that would have been lost if he had not taken the time to write it. If I can help you in any way, do not hesitate to let me know.

God Bless,

I appreciate your listing for Mr. Smith. I took the information there and added it to our files.

I don't know why I didn't let you know at the time, but the spelling on the stone is different than the name you have on the listing.

This is the listing we have:

Sect F Row H Site 83 Smith Granvell B 1877-11-02 1877-11-12

Our info was taken from the stone, but, as you are aware, name spellings varied often in older records.

Mr. Smith's stone is in the first section to the right as you enter the gate. The rows run A on the East side of the section to Z on the West side.

The site numbers run from 1 on the North end to whatever on the South end. Mr Smith's grave is closer to the South end. I would be glad to take you right to it if you let me know when you will be out there. I am the caretaker but I don't have set hours, though they are very flexible as needed.

When people were moved up the hill, the family was allowed to choose any area they wanted and most scattered out to allow more room for future family burials. At the beginning, residents of Little Elm were given spaces as long as they were recorded and at least the corners marked. As a result, we have a large number of curbs and some uneven rows.

You can call me at 940-391-8197 or email me at any time.
