RE: John Yesenko!
He was a great man and my father. If you want to know more about the family I would love to meet you up in ND some time. I am the youngest daughter. My sister is still alive - she will be 90 this spring. I am sure she could fill in some blanks for you. If you want to take a trip up there let me know. I live in Las Vegas.

Are we related?
Hey john. I noticed you have one of my relatives pictures on this site. Louis Kaufman. I'm wondering if we are related and if so, how? My great-grandmother was Dora Kaufman-Simons from Chicago. Her daughter Estelle Simons-Appleman was my grandmother. Her son, my dad, was Jon Appleman. Anyway, I remember this pic of Louis . We still have that same picture. He would be my great great grandfather, I think. Please contact me if you have any further info , as I am trying to do geneology research but it is difficult at times. I am a beginner and many relatives records go back to Russia. Thank you very much Jeanette Appleman

This is to let you know that there does not appear to be any Charles A Baudouine in this cemetery with this death date.

Can you tell me where you got those dates???

Marcus Spiegel
Hello John,
Thanks for taking the great photo of the Marcus Spiegel stone that appears on his son's page, Moses Spiegel, Find A Grave Memorial# 16884799. That is a great view of the stone. Marcus was Colonel of the 120th Ohio Volunteer Infantry and was killed in battle in Louisiana. I have been researching the 120th for 12 years and would like to have your permission to use the photo on my site and in my research that I will give to the library in Wooster, OH. I always give credit for the photos.
Thanks for considering my request.

curious
I found my grandmothers memorial page today and noted that you left flowers on her page. I'm curious as to why you did that. I may be mistaken, but I don't think you knew her.

Pinkos
I found your story on your Pinkos side interesting. My great Grandfather was also a Polish Catholic. He settled in Portland Maine and worked as a blacksmith (drop forger. He named his son Leon and one of his daughters (my grandmother) Leocardia. I wonder if there is a connection?

I recently discovered (through my father's high school yearbook and my grandfather's death certificate) that my ancestors were actually named "Martin." I am now on a mission to discover the missing details. I am sorry I don't have any further inforamtion for you.
