Thomas Wynne
Scott Thomas Wynne was buried at Ducketts farm which was the Quaker burial ground. Philadelphia has a long history of building on cemeteries. Ducketts farm is located at what is today 30th st Station or the Post Office Building.

There are multiple Thomas Wynnes because the cemetery is not defined. GramereC@aol.com Can we add Ducketts Farm Quaker Burial Ground?

If you are not the creator of the cemetery page, then how can this reselling of grave sites be published on Find A Grave?

Are you the creator of the cemetery?
If so, I just found this in Cuba Township's newsletter and you might want to post this.

Probably too late for some but, how awful this is reselling grave plots. You can credit me with the discovery, if you wish.

Re Christian (Christopher ) Schumacher died Oct 20, 1927.
Front page news of Barrington Review October 27, 1927,
It states his eldest son William shot him on Oct 20th.
The article goes on & says, William confessed to the shooting, because his father had been abusive for many years toward the entire family. I didn't look further for the obit, maybe you might be interested in posting this information or researching further. It was front page news in 1927. How sad...
Thanks
Bonnie

Hamrick Familys& Entrekin Familys
Scott Maxwell, I was told by a distant cousin, Linda Ellis that you are also a cousin. I am a descendant of the Hamrick's of Wayne County, Ms., and the Entrekins of Buckatunna, Ms. I have the Entrekin genealogy book on Descendants of John Bryant Entrekin of South Mississippi, as does Linda. I felt that we should compare notes. Sincerely, Richard Rotenberry, Panama City, Fla. great grandson of William Jasper Entrekin...

John Halterman
Matthis, aka Matts, Tyson
I took a photo of the stone when I taveled to PA about 1982. Shockingly, the stone was actually in decent shape back then, despite the 216 yr history. However, I do not have an imager, so I cannot upload the photo. Yes, as others have mentioned, the photo here is not for the Matthias Tyson who died in 1766. By the way, on his gravestone, it read Matts, perhaps that was his nickname?

Your grand parents
You have very nice memorials of your grandparents. Is that right? They died just a couple of weeks apart? Must have been very hard for your family.

Chicago Mayor. Served as Mayor of Chicago from 1854 to 1855.

- Am I reading this right? He died in 1848 but was mayor 1854-1855? Are dates transposed?

Information on Samuel Neill Brobeck
I have contacted the Jerome Township recorder and found she has the old books on the cemeteries. Lot 180 has 3 sights on it in Jerome Township Cemetery. They were purchased by Samuel Neill Brobeck. Only one marker is located on the lot and it is for Margaret E. Brobeck and reads mother, 1868-1929. There is documentation that Samuel is buried their but there is no marker. They will probe the lot and see if there is anyone buried in the other 2 sights.
The recorder also told me the records for the cemetery start back in Jan. 1918 as the first burial and the same person buried the deceased in Jerome Township & Pleasant Hill Cemetery until June 1937. He is listed as being H. Brobeck.

Unable to fulfill this request
I am sorry but there is no listing in the Pleasant Hill or Jerome Township Cemetery for Mahala Brobeck. I did find in research that she died in Steubenville Ohio 6-17-1847 at the age of 37. Maybe she is buried there. Henry is however buried in Pleasant Hill.
Sorry I will not be able to fulfill your request. If she is in this cemetery there is no marker and no listing in the township records.

Donna
