|KAREN T||Charles Dewstow|
Date of Interment: 09/05/1904, I suggested an edit so he died in 1904.
did you try www.seekingmichigan.org to search Death certificates? they have them online from 1897-1920?
You can always email the cemetery and ask them what information they have for him in their files. I have gotten info for my own family/ancestors and been able to find funeral homes used and Churches that were used for services to try to do further research.
Hope this helps you.

|Debbie Gregston||Photo request|
I just started on this site and will be going to De Leon this weekend and take pics if someone else hasn't by then. Debbie 254-485-2325... Stephenville tx. This is so rewarding, even though I tripped and fell my first time out.

|Kathy||Sarah J Breed|
I just posted a photo per your request for Sarah J Breed. I had two problems yesterday at the cemetery. One was that there are two Sarah Breeds buried in West Ridgeway Cemetery - I thought I had the one you had requested, and then found the second one, which was the one you wanted. I took more photos when I realized I had the wrong person initially, but it turned out that I also was having some issues with my camera, which I didn't know about until I downloaded the photos and started going through them. Very unfortunately, Sarah's husband was one of the photos that didn't come out. However, he is buried next to her. He has a memorial posted. I doubt I will be able to get back to this cemetery for a while. You might want to request a photo of his marker, and maybe someone else will be able to fill it before I can.

Could you please use the cemetery database below to get the burial locations for your Mt Olivet photo requests? It keeps the volunteers, me included, out of the Office and makes it more efficient and can get pictures taken faster.

I saw that you maintain Lottie Brown's grave at Clear Lake Cemetery
Do you know who this individual is personally? Are they an ancestor?
I'm trying to find my 3 times great grandmother's death date. She was born Charlotte (Lotta/Lottie) Bessey in about June 1867 or around then... the last I see her is married to her second husband, Albert Rich in 1930. She was first married to Charles Lowe. After 1930 I cannot find her at all...so I'm unsure when she died...but thought maybe she was remarried again.
Please let me know if you know any info.

I have added the family members to his site. Your birth date does not match the tombstone picture. If this is your family I can transfer it to you. Let me know.

|Cameron-Ashley Heath||Frances McComas Broadhurst|
Thank you for that information on Frances McComas--I do like to get the memorials and my own database correct so appreciate very much your taking the time to write. Would it be possible for you to scan that SS application page and just email it to me as an attachment? Interesting because I did at one time talk to descendants of this family group and no one mentioned a Frances-but I certainly believe you.
Did she have children with first or 2nd husband? Does anyone have an old photo of her?

|Jacknife-Zion-Horseheaven Historical Society||Bill Broadhurst|
The Estacada Broadhursts just found out today that Bill had died and I located this Find-a-Grave memorial. Because of all the Broadhurst and Lappen entries I assume you are Brian, Bill's son. My husband is Jack, Arnie's brother. We met you a number of years ago when you were beginning your genealogy quest. Thank you for putting all the memorials on the website. I don't know if you are aware that Harry, your grandfather's brother, died in 2009. Keep up the good work. Joanne Broadhurst

|Paul L. Wegner||Anthony Rickard (1768-1846)|
Thanks for all your great work on the Rickard family history! Looks like you've put in a lot of time on them. Anthony is my (4x) great grandfather as well. (Anthony Rickard->Samuel Rickard->Cynthia Ann Richard->Inez McCool->Marie Burns->James Wegner-> ME.)
I'm curious if you've ever run across any photos of the Rickard family circa 1865-1900? The reason I ask is because I have a portrait that I think "might" be of Samuel Rickard (Anthony's son). It's from a set of two portraits where "I think" the other in the set may be his wife Sarah (Armstrong) Rickard. I have a later portrait of Sarah from 20-30 years later that somewhat matches up.
I'd be glad to email them to you to see what you think (or just to add to your collection). The latter photo of Sarah I've already posted on her Findagrave page.
Thanks again for all your great work.

For now I am going to withdraw my pledge to photograph these two headstones. I drove over there today based on the map shown on findagrave. It appears to be wrong but have the correct address. The map shows the location at the corner of MN AVE and 31st Street but the written location is the corner of East N AVE and 31st. I didn't realize this until I came back home. From what I have found on the web the correct location is on the corner of East N AVE,(which is an extension of Kilgore Rd) and 31st ST.
The graves are located on private property and the township office said they didn't like people going on their land. I still may drive out there and ask.
Meanwhile, there are photos of the graves at the Rootsweb site www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mikccem/
At the top of the page click on burials by cemetery. You can also see a few pics of the general area of the farm they are located by clicking on cemetery locations.
Under the circumstances, maybe you could get permission to copy and post on findagrave.
I will hold off any further work until I hear from you.

|Graceti||RE: Les Cedres and Sainte-Geneviève|
The cemetery photos for Ste-Genevieve have been approved already...a pleasant surprise. But don't worry the church is not the 'Leaning Church of Pierrefonds'!! - it must have been me!!
I will add photos to St-J-de-Soulanges today and they too may be approved quickly. I also have some random photos that I will add as memorials. These were some of the 'older' ones I noticed.
I found you because I had been searching all the 'Saint' cemeteries in Canada. Ste-Genevieve is quite close to me and I clicked on the family link and found Les Cedres. I also saw many burial records for the Poudrette-Lavigne family and I expected to find several stones.
I too wish there was a request a photo button for cemeteries in Canada - perhaps soon.
When the Cemetery Fix thread opens in the New Year you can go ahead and request the merge - with the AKA for sure. Also to add a map.
