No, actually, I'm not related. I'm just doing some work on Owen Cemetery records thing leads to another with me. I LOVE old photos! The families always looked so Happy?! (Just kidding. Photos were expensive so they 'took them' very seriously back then. I just enjoy them immensely! Hopefully someone else from the family will stumble across them later, when they're older. What a pleasant surprise!
Thank you again for your help!

Yes, please leave it so that the photos/newspaper clipping of the family is the first thing we see.
I like your reference that 'family' trumps grave! It made me smile! Thanks for that too!

Please just try deleting the article/photo first. When you add the photo again (click add photo) a box will pop up that says on the arrow/box and it will give you the choice of adding a photo.
Select photo, then add the article again. By setting it as a photo, it will always stay at the top of the memorial page (above grave photos.)
IF you've already done that, I'm sorry to bother you, but would you just try doing it again when you get the opportunity please? Maybe because I just added the grave photo something changed.?
Thank you again!

You have a newspaper clipping of Isaac & Jane Parker's anniversary on Isaac's memorial page.
Find A Grave Memorial# 58831935
It is very special! Thanks for adding it!
Could you go to the memorial page and re-enter the article as a photo instead of as a grave so that the article will stay at the top of the memorial page please?
Thanks so much!

I'm so sorry that you had so much problem with the folks at Greenwood Cemetery. I'm wondering if you might have the address and phone number for them. I'll contact them and let them know that I am related and would like the exact location of the gravesite for the Padgette's.
Thanks so much for all your trouble. Henry Webber

go to the ones you want transferred... click on Edit. then click on suggestion, then enter YOUR findagrave #.
The Richardsons are my family, but I may transfer some of them. I will probably transfer all the others.

I did the transfer of all the McBratnie's that you asked for. I will let you do the family linking. I don't have ownership of any McCulloch's.

Hi Mary, I finally heard back from the Westhampton Memorial Park people; they gave me the location of my aunt, uncle, and cousin's graves. They are in the Four Seasons Garden, Section 9, Lot number 364, Spaces 1, 2, and 3. It's Margaret, Knox, and Lorraine Chapman. If you go out there again sometime and get a chance to take pictures, I'd really appreciate it. If you'd like copies of the maps they faxed me, just let me know. Thanks again! Sharon Hurst

Hi Mary, Thank you for trying; I contacted Westhampton and they wouldn't even give me any information and she was my aunt. They had me fax them proof of being a relative, which I have done, but they haven't responded; I will call them again to follow up, but they are very reluctant to provide information. Thanks again for your efforts! Sharon Hurst

I don't have any concrete proof of JMW's father or siblings, although I have seen speculation that he was son of David Walker and Martha Patsy Dalton. Please let me know if you find anything!

Forgot to mention, John Walker, Sr. also had 4 sons by his first wife. William, Abner, James and Stephen.

Son John died in 1862 and son David died in 1864. About 1862/63 (or possibly a little later--perhaps 1864?), John and Mary had another son that they named John David.

Will of John David Walker, Rockingham Co, NC, written 7-4-1887, probated 11-14-1887, mentions putting tombstones on graves of father John M. Walker and mother Martha A. Walker. witness: Felix G. McKinney.

I have 11 children total for John and Martha. 6 sons and 5 daughters.
