Obituary needed.
Hello, Andrea Dougan:

Even though we aren't supposed to upload obituaries, I was grateful to see one for Emma A Brown that you added to her memorial: However, there's a problem. The obit says that her husband, Marion F Gee/Ghee, survived her. But, according to the cemetery's records, they both died or were buried on 31 May 1931. Marion F Ghee:

The cemetery superintendent told me that the records were in terrible shape when he took over and he's spent years trying to fill in holes and correct errors.

If they both died so closely together, it seems to me that Emma's obit would have mentioned such an important fact, so something is off. Marion's obit is needed to solve the question. SO - is it possible to get an obituary for Marion, too? Is the newspaper online somewhere or will the local library find one for me? Thank you so much for your help!

Maria Suzanne Reynolds Ashmore
Susan Mattingly
I originally got her name from cousin Leslie Fitch Coburn. I also found information on her marriage to John Mattingly and birth/death on
If you need any more info, you can also reach me at email:

I haven't been on the Coburn/Moore Tribal pages for quite some time. I have been spending so much time researching my father's line - it has kept me from doing much else.

Good to hear from you!!!!

You posted a concord cemetery sign photo to this memorial for Virgil Parrish #97676670. This grave is in Concord Church Cemetery near Manitou Ky...But not the Concord Cemetry in white plains. Will you please remove this photo.

George Mooney
I have just begun working on my Mooney family line and noticed that I have a (very faint) copy of the obituary for George Mooney (60601900). I don't know if he is related to you, or if you are just a kind person who created his memorial. I haven't yet determined if he is part of my Mooney clan. I can send you an email and type the information so that it is legible. Would be nice to add it to his memorial. Let me know if you are interested.

RE: Inmans at Inman Cemetery.
Thank You for the report back. I have tracked many of the Inman family to that cemetery. I was concerned that my information may have been in error.
We must be related (By Marriage) for I too have Inmans on my family tree. A Great Aunt married W.T. Inman.

Thank You for the pictures. The Rev. Inman was married to my Great Aunt. Is there no other Inman headstones in the Inman Cemetery?
Thank You again.

John Burden
Salem Cemetery
Hi Andrea I was just wanting to point out that the Salem Cemetery you have pictured is actually for a church called Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Mortons Gap, Ky and not New Salem Church in Nortonville as its listed, I'm sorry if anyone else has pointed that out.

I was wondering if you could change "Adelia Crow" to "Delia Crow". I have added some new photos to this memorial and would like to up date info. she was born in 1871. She shares a stone with "Sarah J Crow", If you could add this I would appriciate it.

Carie/Cardinal Trees
In addition to the Joe Cardinal/Elizabeth Carie branch of your you have, maybe, a Bertha Cardinal (Find A Grave# 63118930) who was the daughter of Joseph & Martha (Carie) Cardinal? Bertha's older sister, Iona Cardinal Sanneman (Find A Grave# 63139106) was my ggrandmother.

Janie Odle Lewis
Beard family
Hi, my great grandfather was Peter Filmore Beard, born in Oct 1888 in English, Indiana. He married Janie Ann Keen Beard and they had the following children: Audrey, Delton, Kilburn, Rose and Anna Rae. I am trying to find his (Peter F Beard's) Mother and Father. I thought his father was William T and his Mother was Edna, but his obituary says his father was John Beard. Do you know anything about Peter Filmore Beard?
Thank you,
Janie Odle Lewis
(My grandmother was Audrey Lucille Beard Odle Ireland)
