|Joyce Brant||Solomon Ogline|
My name is Joyce Ogline Brant. Honored my great grandfather Eli Ogline on Memorial day. while at Lichty cemetery in Somerset, PA I noticed Solomon Ogline's tombstone. You have him listed as being buried in Virginia on the ancestry page.
What I would like to know is who is buried in Virginia, his brother George? Also, need to know if Solomon was in the Civil war. Any help you can come up with would be appreciated.

I have deleted my memorial of Mary Louise Lape Trump and noted on her husband Percy's memorial that although is memorialized with him she is actually interred in Pittsburg PA.
Thank you for contacting me about the correction.

May I make a suggestion regarding her name? You should remove the name of her first husband from the 'maiden name' field. Using two surnames in one field renders it unsearchable, unless someone does a search for both names together. There is no possibility of her being found by other possible relatives, who may have known her maiden name but not a married name.
Just a suggestion, of course, but the naming conventions under "Help with Find A Grave" supports this suggestion.

Hello! I am about to fulfill your photo request and just wanted you to know that it is a photo of the area, only. Her grave appears to be unmarked. The number plugs are easy enough to find in this particular area, so I know that I found the right spot. There is a possibility that there is a marker and it is simply buried. However, if there is one, I could not feel it. You might want to call the cemetery and confirm. If they tell you there is supposed to be one, please let me know, and I will place a work order to have it uncovered.
Sorry this was not a more positive outcome.

I have no connection to Sharon Furey, and only set up her memorial because I took a photo of her headstone when I was taking others one day. I have no idea how your relative appeared there as her spouse, but I have removed it. Sorry about it appearing there in the first place!

Recently I answered a volunteer request for a photo of the marker for Irene Lape. Since Joseph Lape's name was also on the stone, I added it to his memorial. Hope this is okay. If I have overstepped just let me know and I will remove the photos.

Do you have confirmation of the relationship of her and Peter Bright Walter? He apparently married a Catharine Clancy in 1882, so was Mary Jane perhaps a product of an earlier marriage of which I don't know?

Hi Gregory -
I just filled the photo request for Louisa. If you would like to go back to the memorial and repost the picture of her and choose the setting that calls it a photo of the person, it will appears first on her memorial.
Because of the way that my grave picture posted first on the memorial, I'm assuming the system thinks the one you posted is also a grave picture.
Just wanted to give you a heads up. Hope all is well. - Jim

(my MEMORIAL) as it is NOT a duplicate to another for the same person, is not being deleted unless there is such a memorial out there. I have had duplicates before, for I am not perfect. But this is not a duplicate.
So what exactly am I to be advised of???

Oops! I meant to say:
Thank you very much for your contributions to Find-A-Grave. I am curious about your Amanda LAPE Hoke Stevens’ daughter Effie Mae Lape May, Find A Grave Memorial# 40055500. You referenced her obituary that was published in the Meyersdale Republic on November 12, 1974. In it, it says that she was survived by “…a half-sister, Mrs. Edna Hawk, Masontown.” Do you know how they are related? I am trying to find the parents of Mrs. Edna Hawk (16 June 1903 – 16 December 1986). She is buried in Masontown.

Is it possible to see pictures of Iva and her mom? Great Aunt Della I never met and I did not meet Iva either :( I would love to hear all about them and Della's mom and dad my great grandparents...Della's brother my grandfather, Louie West, allegedly committed suicide in 1960 before I was born.
Thank you, Theresa West

Thornrose Cemetery is quite a distance from me and due to health reasons I no longer do cemetery work. If you click on 'Thornrose' there are links to ask someone closer to the cemetery to take a photo, etc. You might try that method and ask if this other person is buried close to Risbeck. I do remember that section of the cemetery and it only had a few stones there. A lot of those buried there did not have stones, was a section where a lot of babies were buried or family just never put up a stone. However that was in 2006 so I'm sure by now the section has filled up. Sorry but I can't help you with this request. The best of luck to you.

|Jane Rankin||Joseph & Irene Lape|
I want to thank you sincerely for transferring my Aunt Irene to me. Since her husband, Joseph Lape is a direct descent of your mother, I think that you should keep Joseph Lape rather transferring it to me. I'm working on the Lowe family tree and I treasure family information. Would you please just share some information about Joseph Lape to me in an email? I would like to know more about his family. Thanks again, Jane.
