Fairmount Cemetery
Hi NWMM. There are about 5 or so of us working on sections of Fairmount in Spokane. Have you finished any one section? If so can you let me know from their map which it might be? Or have you just worked randomly? Are you available to work on a section? I am hoping to leave a map in the office fro Us on Find a Grave showing what is being actively claimed or worked on. Thanks for your help. Rosalie

RE: Thomas Donahoe
They were Donahue and then some changed to Donahoe.
William and Tom were brothers. They had the Donahue Ranch right across the street from the cemetery. I will work on it some more.
I was looking for Rosamund Young Gage. I didn't get to Riggs Cemetery. She was mother to Martha Gage Donahoe. Samuel her husband was buried in Riggs Cemetery but I haven't found Rosey yet.

William Charles Kasdorf
Hi! I was searching for the grave of William Charles Kasdorf, and found your listing for the memorial stone in Colfax Cemetery, Colfax, Washington. You stated that he died in WWI, but the date of death is entered as 1981, which probably should read 1918. Thanks so much for fixing it! - Jean Griesan

Links to half-siblings
I see you have links to half-siblings on Hiram Paul's memorial. Can you tell me how to create those links? Also, can the same be done for step-siblings/step children? Thanks.

Joseph Randall Hall
Hello NW
I see you have a number of Halls on your site, I have the pension and service records for Joe in my files. My Great Grandfather was a Corp. in the 4th Wis., Benjamin Franklin Hall. He had a brother named Joe that's why I have the information. I really do not need it, so if there is any one out there that would like to have the info. I would be glad to send it to them.

RE: Fairmount Cemetery
Thanks so much! Now my job is not so daunting knowing you have started. I started with the vaults and niches as I forgot my broom! Maybe we could meet there some time and you could show me what you have done and your plan. Thanks again. I am only entering from my photos and not records at this time. It is interesting how we keep following each other or I follow you. You were the first person on Find a grave I ran into at Badger Mt Cemetery, my first cemetery, and then I see you in Louisiana and now, as well as many in between! So thankful for your work. Rosalie

Hi NW MM This is Rosalie used to be in Wenatchee, now in CDA. Are you doing or have you done regular work at Fairmount in Spokane? I am starting to photograph it so just curious what you have done with records or other. Thanks for letting me know. Rosalie

RE: Christina McKay
Actually I found her parents and was able to link them thanks to the transfer. I am now searching for her siblings, but since they were in Canada it becomes more difficult. But I'm having some luck. Thank you again for the transfer. Made this much easier to work on.

Thank you for the transfer. I appreciate all of your hard work and will take care of her. Hope to find her parents some day. I know when her father died, just not burial location yet.

oops on me
guess I hit wrong key. Thank you for all the tips and ideas. Spokane's outdoor museums, aka cemeteries, have so much history. I learned when I worked with the SPD history book committee and we did monuments. Aha they may be something I could add as well plus their history besides family. Getting the swing of this....maybe. Oh my lots to learn but good to be green and growing rather than ripe and rotting. Thank you again. Maybe out paths will cross one day -- cameras in hand -- strolling through those outdoor museums. I am anxious to visit the new Veteran's Cemetery near Spokane. Many died giving much and so much history between the dashes!

Ronald Isaac Lawson
I was checking memorial #83996298 which I entered a while back and realized that my uncle Ronald's memorial is in there 3 times. I am one of the culprits, but I do now know why. When he was born my grandmother named him Isaac Ronald Lawson, but evidently he chose Ronald Isaac Lawson. I would like to get this corrected and remove the one I entered but I do have a lot of family links attached. Since you have been doing this much longer than I, what is the best way to do it? Thanks, Anthony Lawson, Elkton, VA

emily sue again YOU hope :)
pondering here in Spokane as my cousin is in Colfax WA and I asked if he knew someone with handle of Mountain Man and he said nope. Then your msg came and I see a different time zone.

Confused this old gal. You said I could ask a question and now I do have one. Audrey Buchanan marker says: Created by: NW Mountain Man

How did you happen to create Aunt Audrey's site, and the same with Grandpa Frederick Job and Uncle Fred Floyd?? That is the part I don't get. Why those out of the family and not Grandma Anna and the others there in Colfax.

Perhaps this is not the place for these questions and if not how and where do I ask you? Thanks. Also I loved teaching -- 30 yrs high school. Thanks for keeping them in order for us as a DARE officer. Worked with them also big job you had.(hope you can delete this drivel) emily sue

Colfax cemetery/Audrey Buchanan & Waymires
if you only knew what you, Mr Mountain Man, got this retired history/govt/law teacher & current researcher/ proofreader for another find a grave guy and founder of into oh my dog (OMD)but what fun.

Would you call this a mild form of addiction I ponder? Once you start -- well. My dogs are fed but The Husband is another story.

Thank you for the pic of Aunt Audrey' marker and I Frederick Job Waymire & son Fred Floyd. I am anxious to make the trip to Cofax & add the rest of the clan & am adding twin daughter buried in So Idaho when I return. You gave me the kick to get started,
My motto (oe of them) a cemetery is an outdoor museum --- so much history to be learned while wandering. thanks again emily sue

Thank you for the information on Robert Wright's parents. I've added the memorial link for his mother and father. It is heartwarming to be able to establish these kinds of connections.
