I know your work :) I thought you might be adding more historical information for them so that is why I moved them to your control.

Thank you for searching for James Holman. I was sure that he was in that National Cemetery. I don't know why the contributor has him in the cemetery in Davenport.
I put in the photo request just to check for sure. Thank you! Pam

Curtis graves in Cedar County.
Dear Dustin, Thank you so much for the transfer of the Curtis graves. They are my direct ancestors and I have known of them since I was a child. Finding them has been a struggle and a surprise as to their location. Since I found them, I have wanted to add the information that I have found. Thank you for being willing to let some go and for all your Find A Grave work. Kathryn Engel

Can I use your personal photo of her and her gravestone?

Per this:

Her middle name is Wonser. Her great-grandparents I have listed as Wanzer so I assume that is where that comes from.

Here is the text in case you can't read the link.

May I ask why you have abandoned attention to Simeon Monroe "Bud" Oliver and the Oliver families you manage? There has been no response or action to my repeated requests to add information, suggestions to link him to his wife Nancy E. Shores Oliver and parents William Franklin Oliver and Elvira Humphries Oliver. Barbara Tynes Claiborne 47704197

I am so curious at how you came about finding and posting the marker for my baby cousin. She is the first child of my dad's brother. My Uncle has since passed on as well as my aunt, her mother. I wanted to know how to share or add her parents info to her?

McCauley Cem. near Gadsden,AL
I am new to this grave site thing. Doing family history. I found where you listed my great great grandfather in McCauley Cem. I have relatives in Gadsden and they say the cem. is near Nacolula Falls but nobody knows where. Could you give me a road or directions to how to get there? You listed children of Augustus Lawton Fleming but did not list his son Ernest of who is my great grandfather. Thanks so much.

Judith Nan Lewis
RE: Ashley family
Hi Dustin,

Florence was a first cousin to my GG-Grandmother, Jarucia Paralee Ashley Stanfield. Their Fathers, William Ashley & John R. Ashley were brothers.

My Grandmother, Atha Johnny "Tuggie" Gober Lewis, was a Granddaughter of Jarucia Paralee Ashley Stanfield. She was close to cousin Curtis Fleming & wife and had told me back in the early 1960's of William Ashley & John R. Ashley being brothers.

Until Later.....God Bless,
Judith Nan Lewis

Miles W. Rich
Louis Rich
He was my grandfather. He emigrated to the United States in 1910. His name then was Leib Stracher. His father, Wolf, changed the family name to Rich after coming to Rock Island, IL, where Louis's mother, Rachel Filer, had relatives. Oscar Mayer purchased Louis Rich, Inc., in 1979. We are privately publishing a book about my grandfather and his family.

Joshua Beal
re: Oakdale Memorial Gardens

I have two photo requests at Oakdale Memorial Gardens in Davenport which I have confirmed by telephone with the office are indeed interned there. They are my great-great grandparents, Thomas and Jennie Beal. I stopped once in the middle of the night as I was driving through but had no luck. (I live in Pella which is in South Central Iowa.)

Thomas Beal: Memorial #77731748, Sect 17, Lot 86, SE Corner
Jennie Beal: Memorial #77684351, Sect 17, Lot 86, SE Corner

Would you by any chance be available to fulfill these requests for me? I would be very grateful. And if you feel a bit over zealous while you are there, I would be ecstatic to have photocopies of their death certificates that are on file there. I would reimburse you any associated costs. Thanks so much.

Joshua Beal

Sherri Meck
Mount Calvary Cemetery
I was wondering if you were that way, or had a way to look it up, if you could check to see if Elsie G. BERRIE (WHITAKER) ARGUELLO is actually buried in the cemetery. According to a note I have on her, she is but I haven't been able to find her listed.

I reside in Missouri so coming up myself at this time is near impossible. Thanks for anything you might be able to help with. (She died on January 20, 2001)

Nancy Thompson
Oakdale Memorial Gardens

It has been brought to my attention that the gravestone indicates 12 Jun 1887 - your memorial annotates 13 Jun 1887. If the correct date is 12 Jun 1887, I am sure it was a typo. Please revisit and check the date so it is accurate.
Thanks for your help!

Johann Heinrich "Henry" Petree

Information that I have to share with you is about:
Johann Heinrich "Henry" Petree is my 3rd great grandfather. His Parents were Johann Jacob Petri (1722-1804) and Anna Eva Keenly (1720-1790) and he needs to be linked to his parents.

The information that I have is that he was born in Richmond, Berks Co. PA. He died near Rural Hall, Stokes Co. NC. On 4 Apr 1762, at Windsor Township, Berks Co., PA. Both Henry, and his father, Jacob PETREE took the oath of allegiance in Berks Co., PA at the same time.

He married Margaretha Barbara Magdalina Zimmerman about 1779 in Stokes Co. North Carolina.
