Can you give me the number or cemetery name.

Thank you
Thank you for the transfer of Ephriam Hancock. His oldest child is my g grandmother, Minerva, who married Charles Franklin Mitchell. I'm guessing the book you're refering to regarding Hancock history is "The Poineer" compiled by Samuel Harden in 1895. There are several pages with Hancock family history in Indiana (pages 109-113). It includes the letter written by Cynthia Hancock Reeder, your wife's gg grandmother - I found the book printed out on line several years ago. If this isn't the book, let me know - I'm always interested in discovering new sources. My real blockage regards the parents of Minerva's husband - a break through there would be nice.... Thanks again - Margie D

One thing I just noticed - You listed 1974 as her death date, but her stone has 1913. I updated the month and day per your instruction though. Also, East Saginaw wasn't an option to choose from. I looked it up and found that it is a defunct city together with Sagniaw City is now just Saginaw.

You asked for all Corsers. I did not find Warren and his wife yet. I did find Austin
& Ethel and Charles & Evaline and their stone photos were uploaded

RE: Find a grave photo
Also noted someone else had a memorial for Alice Bertha Courser, Willaim Murray's day. Noted a pic of her gravestone in my archives and uploaded it as well. She had a tragic life as well. Married, 4 years later had a son, stillborn more than likely, then her husband died 2 years following that. Never remarried - spinster school teacher.

Added Memorial
Found a pic of William Murray Courser's grave in my archives - didn't think I had one, and it was 'geo-tagged' as well. Built a memorial and posted. WMC grave is more prominent than LJC's.

RE: Leroy James Courser
Hi Al, LJC was my wife's maternal GF - she's the dau of his dau Eleanor Bertha (Courser) Morrill. I do not believe there is a 'Family marker'. LJC's father William Murray Courser came to Dover from Warner NH and there were not a lot of surviving Coursers around.
If you'd like more info, contact me at Pls excuse the late reply - just noticed the Find-a-Grave post.

Hi Al!

I just sent you the 1850 and 1860 census with Martha's parents. The 1860 census is on two pages and it wouldn't let me send both. I am going to send you a link to my site. This will allow you to look at my tree along with all of the supporting information without having to sign up for the account.

I have also made contact with another relative of this Courser line. Once I gather information, I would be more than happy to share it.

This is the line that my husband's family takes...
Caleb Wright...Martha Wright...Alvina Courser...Edith Forquer...Dortha Page.

I'm not sure where you live, but we are in Michigan. I am planning a trip to Mt. Pleasant to meet with my husband's great Aunt who is sister of Dortha. I also planning to visit all of the cemeteries. If there is something you would like me to photograph for you, please let me know.

Thank you so much!

RE: John G. Courser
His wife Narscissa was buried nearby, but it seemed like there was room for a grave between them. I didn't see any other stones but this cemetery has grass growing over some of their stones. It looked like the Courser stones had been uncovered recently.

One of the Courser daughters married a Rath and lived in Walsh County, and there are Raths in the Drayton cemetery. I don't know how they are related.

Please ask for a transfer of Narscissa?

Glad to help!

Courser Family
I found the pictures you posted on Find a Grave. I do research on the Story family and have a copy of the book written by Robert Pratt about the STORY family. I have added a lot of information about the Story family to my data base which is beyond what Robert Pratt wrote. Please contact me and we can compare information. Thanks for posting those picture.

Call Family
Just wondering are you related to my Call family.
Silas Call and Mary (Corser) Call. I am directly related to them through his son Lemuel Call. This is my connection with the Call family.

1. Philip Call who married Sarah Trussell
2. Silas Call who married Mary Corser
3. Lemuel Call who married Rhoda Sweatt
(note: first wife of Lemuel Call was Nancy Call)
4. Reuben Call who married Sarah Stickney
5. Jonas Franklin Pierce Call who married Ida Kimball
6. Winfield Call who married Sadie Braley
7. Evelyn Call (my grandmother) who married Raymond Westgate

I have copies of most of the vital records for the above mention Call family members. I have been working on this family so I can put in an application for Silas Call with the Daughters of American Revolution.

Hi there
In reading the pension application records I got today on Silas Call and his wife Mary Corser. It mentions they were married on the 9th of Feb 1785 it does mention in some of the documents that Mary Corser went by Mary/Molly/Polly. But the application was filed under Mary Call. List they were married (if I can read the writting) by a Samuel Wood.

Silas Call
Just a note I saw that you have Silas Call husband of Mary Corser, born on a different date than I have.

per vital records of Boscawen in the book "One Hundred and Fiftieth Anniversary of The Settlement of Boscawen and Webster Merrimack Co. N.H. August 16, 1883" found this book on line), I have him born on 17 Mar 1758 in Boscawen,Merrimack,New Hampshire. Silas Call died 08 Nov 1814 in Portsmouth,Rockingham,New Hampshire. Silas was a private in the Revolutionary War and died in service during the War of 1812 as a Capt. I sent away to the National Archive in Washington, DC for a copy of his pension application and got it today (number W16 521) it list his wife Mary Corser said they were married in 1785.

Lemuel Call born 15 Jul 1792 (per vital records of Boscawen same book as mentioned above)in Boscawen,Merrimack,New Hampshire died 04 Oct 1867 in Boscawen,Merrimack,New Hampshire he married Rhoda Sweatt on 16 Jan 1816 in Boscawen,Merrimack,New Hampshire (per marriage records of the Second Church of Christ of Boscawen, New Hampshire) I also have a bible page from William Walker Call's bible that show his parents (Lemuel and Rhoda Call) and his siblings birth dates.
