RE: Rein Walter
He may not have been a victim. An autopsy *was* performed a number of years later.

Suspicious, of course, but the coroner did not find anything in that case, according to that article.

Al Robertson
Finally remembered to ask Fran Robertson where you uncle Al is buried. I saw her the other night at my uncle's visitation and she confirmed my original thought that he is buried at the DFW Military Burial Ground. I don't know the exact name of the cemetery, but maybe you can find it. He was one of the first buried there.

RE: Al Robertson
I will do that.... I won't see her until October when our club meets again. I would guess he maybe buried at Glenwood. It is a large active cemetery. I tried to look in the Star-Telegram and you can only see a very small part of the obit without paying them to see anything archived.

But, when I do see her I will ask.Fran is really into genealogy. We were in the genealogy socity for years. So, you might try and contact her yourself and see what she has.

Sincerly,
Beverly

Al Robertson
Just wanted let you know that Al Robertson is not buried at Balch Cemetery. They have not buried anyone there in probably 20 years and it was many, many year before that that they stopped. If he is buried anywhere in Alvarado it would be Glenwood Cemetery. For some reason I was thinking he might have been buried at the big Veterans Cemetery in the DFW area. I know Fran very well, have known her for many, many years. We went to church togather and are involved now with clubs, etc. I did not go to Al's funeral was working at the time, but can tell you without doubt he is NOT BURIED at Balch. But, not postive where they did bury him....Balch Cemetery is very old, they do not bury there anymore. One lady I knew was to be buried there when the time came and she died in 1992, don't think a single person has been buried there since.

RE: Mary
Andrew, Based on the recent passing of her brother [Find A Grave Memorial# 83498206] and reading his obituary, I saw the connection to Mary. If I find anything regarding her birth I will pass it on to you. I have been at this for only a year and a half, yet I am finding a great deal to assist in family tree building.

Hello there, just wondering if you would transfer the maintenance of Watson Compton's memorial to me? He was my great grandfather. Also wondering how you are connected to the people of the Sutherland Cemetery, I have lots of info on most of those people.

take care
Brett Compton
