RE: Hogue
Thank you for your quick response. I have been at this since 1966, nearly as long as you. As you see what I wished to do is wrap together the 10 Hogues in Oxford Cemetery. The Goodrich connection comes from Virginia records. John, 1801-1883, and his "two" families are from Rev. Diehl's book, "Old Oxford and her Families." Randolph, ca.1766-aft. 1850, was a son of Jonathan (John) Hogg, ca.1739-1814 Amherst Co. and Lucy Phelps. Randolph was a brother to John Jr., Lucy Sledd, Sarah Key, Nancy, Samuel, Milbourne, William Frederick and Mary A. Around 2006 there was a great deal of discussion about Mary Ann Childress and John Goodrich. It appears before she married Solomon Carter she had a son, John Childress, believed to have been a bastard son of John Goodrich. She had several Carter children and then around 1785 left Carter and moved in with Goodrich. Carter excluded her from his will as, "... she is cohabiting with another man." Mary Ann and John married in 1786 right after Carter died.

I forgot. John and Rachel Hogue were one set of my GGGrand parents. Their eldest son, Thomas, and Martha Wilson were my GGrandparents. Their dau. Cornelia Elmira "Ella" was my mother's mother. Thomas, Martha and Ella are buried in Ashmore, Coles Co., Illinois. Ella was born in Putnam Co., In.

Hogue
John Hogue was the son of Randolph Hogg and Mary "Molly" Goodrich. Mary's father was John Goodrich, Rev. War, and Mary Ann Childress Carter Goodrich. Randolph and Mary were in Indiana with son, William, in 1850 census. Parthena M. Moore was second wife of Johns. His first wife was Rachel Welch Wilson. They had 4 sons. Rachel was dau. of Thomas Welch II and gdau. of Thomas Welch I. Both served in Rev. War. John and Parthena's son was James Pinkerton who married Mary Dora Holden. Their son was Harry Russel who married Hattie Cummings. Harry R. Sr. And Hattie's children were Ruby Eloise Deacon, James Calvin, twins Harry R. Jr. & Hilda Cummings and Dora V. DeVuono.

I have the memorials for Isa and Lafe Hogue. I am not related to them, nor have a connection. I see where Hogue is in your research interests. Would you like these two transferred to you?

RE: James Brawner
You are welcome. I also provided a couple of other SACs to 2 contributors regarding her and her daughter, Pearlie.

I am a direct Pulliam descendant.

As I did with Fanny Lewis, if I find any blanks I can fill in (or notice any mistakes) I send the info on.

I have lots of information on the Pulliams and on some of families they intermarried with (I'm also a direct descendant on those too). So feel free to email me if you want or need any information about those back here in Franklin County, Kentucky.

Thanks,
Deb Redmon

I see you have this John W. Kittrell with right date of birth to be son of Richard Kittrell (spelled some records as Cottrell) b 1801 NC (blacksmith) and wife Matilda TILDY Vaught who married 1821 Blount CO, TN.

I'm also a Kittrell descendant and can share notes if anyone would like. My people are also from Blount CO.

Hi, Joan. I'm sorry I have no clue when she passed away. I have never been able to find any documentation. I know there is no stone although my great grandfather, George, has one. I found a death date of 1935 on ancestry.com but there is no backup for that either. Their daughter, Ida, was my grandmother. If you do find out, please let me know and I will do the same.

Terry

It will take me a little time, to write every thing down, I will get an email to you in a couple of days, if times permits. I share this computer, I will try to get it done in the morning while my room mate is at work.
