Beekman's
Hello,
I wanted to send you a couple of links that may possibly be of interest to you. Beekman is a name that has been around in our town since at least the 1700's. Perhaps these Beekman's could be some of your ancestors. http://www.iment.com/maida/familytree/henry/bios/hendrickbeekman.htm

http://www.hillsborough-nj.org/Cit-e-Access/webpage.cfm?TID=45&TPID=6503

There are many buildings and roads in this town named for the Beekman's.

Benjamin Frank Willets
Hello Gregory,

I've been unable to find any record of burial (or physical location) for this person at Calvary Baptist Church in Ocean View, NJ.

The DAR transcripts collected from 1907 - 1910 do not include Benjamin Frank Willets.

Do you still have the source used for this memorial? I'd love to know where this information can be found.

Thank you
Lori Jo

Pvt. Wm Craft
Thank you for the memorial for Wm Craft (Memorial# 12675970.) It will require some more research, but I believe he might be my great-great grandfather. I noticed from the picture of the marker that it was inscribed "9 IND VOL". You had posted that he was a member of the "9th New Jersey Volunteer Army". Shouldn't that read "9th Indiana Volunteer Army", instead?

Sincerely,
Barbara Faust

Nancy Parr
Price
Richard P. Price and Abraham S. Price were sons of Robert Price and Susannah Sarah Poyer Parr.
Clarissa Susan and Mary Matilda were Banghart sisters who married these two men.

Susannah Sarah Poyer Parr Price was widow of Alexander Parr and the third wife of Robert Price.

Robert Price and his first two wives are buried at Old Union Chapel Cemetery. They were 1st Jemima Parr and 2nd Jane Ann Poyer. Jane Ann was the older half sister of Susannah Sarah Poyer Parr Price.

Nancy Parr
grgrgrgranddaughter of Robert and Jane Ann Poyer Price thru their son Darius Howard Price and his wife Susan Morris. Darius and Susan had a daughter Martha Jane Price who married William A. Parr and they became my grgrandparents.

(And, yes, you are seeing correctly with all those Parrs who were relatives to each other.)
