Flowers/Remembrance at Pfc Michael B. Penney's grave
Dear Priscilla,

I'd like to thank you for leaving a remembrance at the grave of my mother's brother, Pfc Michael B. Penney. I've only just found this site with the photo of his grave, and have added his picture, a picture of my mother and grandmother (his sister and mother), and photos of the memorial in Ligneuville, Belgium.

It is nice to know that wonderful people like yourself took time to remember him.

I wish you many blessings,

Thank you for Roy Mode
Thanks for visiting my Uncle Roy Mode's grave in Belgium and posting a memorial. It was great to see that people had honored his life when I found him. I have put him in a virual Mode cemetary with his parents and sister & brother-in-law. I feel like I sort of brought him home at last. I am still looking for his wife but I'm going to have to ask my cousins where she and her second husband are buried. You are welcome to visit all of them if you are curious. My father is the only one still alive from the origional Mode family. He has always kept a picture of Roy in uniform on his bookshelf and told me all about him.

Priscilla, my mistake. You did not create the page. You were kind enough to post a memorial to him. I apologize for not reading more carefully.

William H. Emmert
A couple of weeks ago I was updating family Find A Grave Memorials and did not find the one you created for my uncle, William H. Emmert, Jr. so I created one for him. Today, while doing some work on your link appeared in my search. First of all, thank you. My memorial, however, has much more information and a photo of "Uncle Bill". My memorial number is 134865826. How do we approach this to eliminate duplicates? Thank you.

RE: William Alexander Cook
Darn, I was hoping you were a relative, it is so hard trying to find people when they were not wealthy, famous, and just nice hardworking people.

Hello Priscilla, I am the great granddaughter of William A. Cook. Daughter of James Cook. I saw that you left flowers on the find a grave site under his name. Since I have not found any relatives before Tulia I thought maybe you are a descendant. Please contact me on my e-mail.

Thank you for logging my Mother's unmarked grave. She is buried with my Father, Thomas Fortune Asprey,( died 1978) as they directed.

There are no other family burials in Kent. Mostly on maternal side in Teesside and Paternal mostly in the Midlands.
