RE: Rosa Thompson Vowell
There are over 20 family trees on Ancestory.com that list his middle name as Tilden. Where they got this information is hard to trace. Don't know where he is buried-can't find his death date either.
Some family trees list him as being in Maine when he died.

RE: Henry Alspaugh
Chris, Sorry to disappoint you but I have no Henry ALSPAUGH, IO do have Henry A. Alspaw, however the data I have is the same as the headstone with is born 1877 and died 1887, age 10 years. Please recheck your data to ensure that we are on the same page.

Skip Pace -- my wife was connected to the Alspaw's by their marriage into the Phillippe family.

Sorry it took so long but I have been traveling.

RE: Thompson
I have only been able to go back to my husbands grandfather who was Alexander Forney Thompson and was from Alabama. His Mom's mother's maiden name was also Thompson. On her side I am back to 1765 with Henry Thompson from South Carolina. I live in Georgia and the only 2 states outside of Georgia are Alabama & South Carolina.

Thank you so much for adding the photo of Willis. His son, Wes was married to my great grandmother, Olive Ruth Cocke Rose Harrington and several other husbands. Bert Thompson was married to Olive Cocke's daughter, Virginia Rose. It is a strange genealogy branch.

RE: ALSPAW
I have worked on the Alspaw, Alspach genealogy for sometime now. What info would you like from me regarding Henry? My great grandfather Isaac was the son of Henry and Mary Oliver Alspach. She was his third wife. We live on the farm that Isaac purchased in January, 1908. It is approximately 10 miles from Dripping Spring Christian Church. My husband and I are members of Dripping Spring church and have been since 1968. .

Looking forward to hearing from you. I will be happy to mail you the info that I have collected through family bibles, talking with the older folks before they passed away, newspaper articles, etc.

Carolyn Heath Sisk
salt creek cemetery
Hi Chris,

I noticed you were one of the contributors for a photo of the Wilson Salt Creek Cemetery in Okmulgee County, OK. I've been told that my great-grandmother, Mary Jane Heath was buried at this cemetery in 1910. I've found her brother-in-law, John Calhoun Heath, at this cemetery so I suspect that she is buried there as well. However, no gravestone has been found for her. Would you happen to know who has the records for this cemetery so I can confirm that she is indeed buried there? I would appreciate any information you could give me.

Thank you!
Carolyn Heath Sisk

Tuskegee Cemetery
Thanks for the message on the location of the Tuskegee Cemetery. I've written find a grave before about the mistake of placing this cemetery in Edna but I never received a response. I'll try again and see what happens. If you have any advice on how to make a change, let me know.

RE: Tuskegee Cemetery gate photos
Hi Chris. I didn't know the Tuskegee cemetery at Edna was a black cemetery. I didn't ask, but I did notice some of the photos were African Americans.
Yes the stone Incorporation I attached is from the Tuskegee Cemetery (Edna). I face south when I'm looking into the cemetery through it's gate and the stone incorporation is in the white and green pillar on my left (east side of the gate). The cemetery has honeysickle growing on it's front fence. There is also a rather large pipeline running east and west in front of the cemetery but some of it is underground and it's hard to see.

I am so sorry to bother you.
Respectfully,
Susan

Tuskegee Cemetery gate photos
Hello Chris:
There seems to be a glitch in our Creek County Tuskegee Cemetery gate photos. When I enter the Tuskegee Cemetery (Edna, OK) residents for some reason your Tuskegee Cemetery (Tuskegee, OK) comes up on their page. Our cemeteries are only 6 miles apart but Tuskegee Cemetery (Edna) is on county road 311 and the Tuskegee Cemetery (Tuskegee) is on county road 351 south of me. I know, crazy right! lol. Can you make the change so it won't pop up? Thank you!

RE: John Nimmo
All the information I have on John Nimmo and the Nimmo gravesite is at the following URL on my weblog:

http://baxtercountycemeteries.blogspot.com/2011/05/john-nimmo-cemetery-or-gravesite.html

or you can just Google "John Nimmo Cemetery Baxter County Arkansas" and find it that way.

He is buried in a single gravesite in the woods that has very little access. His wife, MARGARET ELLEN NIMMO (June 10, 1875 February 22, 1918) is buried in the nearby Old Athens Cemetery.

You are Welcome Chris. I Think family should always have their family transferred to them. All I ask is you go to any Cemetery and take a few photos yourself. Who knows you may just find someone brick wall in your photos. Good luck.
