Hi Arthur
Thank you for the posting James & Sarah Moffat obituary. Would you like me to transfer their memorial to you? It would be no problem doing it.

Provencals to Adelaide Sirois. Done!

That is right. Leaves would get on the graves, and then that means that they would cover the gravestone, and you would disrespectfully have to walk on the person's grave. Thank you for reading it though.

I've seen that you have done some photo requests in Resurrection Cemetery, in Justice, Illinois. I was wondering if you could take some photos for me. Please tell me if this is too much. Their names are:

Anthony Ciezopka 1884-1945
Caroline Ciezopka Golden (golndyn) 1894-1945
Wladyslaw Ciezopka 1922-1923
Anthony Kuska 1879-1942
Victoria Zamas (Kuntel, Knutel, nee Wronczek, Kuska) Zamas was her last married name. 1884-1968

If it is not too much can you take pictures of the surrounding graves of Victoria Zamas, and Anthony Kuska. Also if you want, may you go to the plot where Stanislaw Kania (1878-1950), and his wife Maryanna Koperna (1882-1918) were buried and take pictures of the surrounding graves around them. All of these people have photo requests on them, except for the one's that are around these people's graves. Please tell me if this request is too much. I appreciate the work you volunteers do.

Please email me the pictures of the surrounding graves to my email:

It looked like 1902 to me. I added a memorial for her; would be happy to transfer if she is your family. If you cannot find records for 1902 I can check again next time I am there.

RE: Anthony Hess Photo
You are most welcome!

Tony's brother, Edward W. Hess, was my uncle by his marriage to my father's half-sister, Shirley Ingebretson.

I think Tony's middle name 'A' may well be Arthur after his father.

Headstone Info
In Section 25 Lot 232 Grave 1
There is a obelisk marker for the Cejka Family
I was there in 2000 visiting - I live in California - and was using an old 35 mm film camera. Thought I took good photos, but when they were developed I was unable to read the inscriptions on the marker.
Any possible way on your next visit you could photograph the various inscriptions and photo plaques?
Just e-mail to me?
It would be appreciated very much

Anton Arman
My grandfather was named Anton Arman, but he died in 1932 buried in Quicy, Adams, Ill soldiers cematary. Given that this surname is rather rare, I wonder if there is any connection. He was born in Austria and was in and out of service and vet's hospital for some time. He married Elsie Mae Franklin around 1901. Arman is his father's name, his father William Joseph Arman was adopted by Jock Jerkovich, but some of the children opted to keep their biological father's name of Arman. Does any of this fit with your family tree. Hope to hear from you. Rosemary Arman Drummond

RE: William Acht
Hi Art:
I believe that William Acht was the son of Hugo Acht and wife Mary. Hugo was a career military musician stationed at Fort Sheridan probably until 1907 when his land was deeded and he moved to California with his wife and two daughters. He is listed at Fort Sheridan in the 1900 census. In the 1910 census (CA) he and his wife were listed as having had 3 children, 2 living at that time, and both other children were born in IL. The Acht's other two children were Mary Jr. and Amelia. Hugo's military career is well documented on Ancestry, and his Ft. Sheridan property deed info. can be pulled up on google. I will understand if you don't want to add this info. to William's listing as it is conjecture at this point. I like to add info. to listings on find a grave when possible.
Best wishes,

RE: Thelma Richert

I read Thelma's obituary today and it states that her and Phillip lived in Stevens Point at the time of his death. I was unable to locate any burial record of Phillip in La Crosse county and was wondering if it is possible that he is buried around Stevens Point. Do you have record of him being buried in La Crosse?
