Idaho State Hospital Cemetery Photo
You posted a photo of the cemetery for "Orofino Hospital Cemetery", and it's not of that cemetery. I think it is possibly from Riverside Cemetery, which is across the river. Here is the photo:

Here is the link to the cemetery:

I was there the other day, and the cemetery looks nothing like this. The name is also wrong on the cemetery, but I've contacted Find A Grave about it. It's a great photo, but in the wrong place.

Thanks, Natalie

This person is not at this cemetery. He is in Carteret County, NC, Mill Creek area, the family cemetery there. It is not online at this time. You may want to make this note on the Memorial. You may also want to delete the no marker photo post. Best regards, Barb

Dempster Steward
I am looking at your record for Dempster A Benedict. #103527010. I think you meant to put Steward as his last name.
Thank you for all of the work you've done.

RE: family connections
I sent you some. Have you received any of them? Would you rather that I post them here? As far as I know I'm not related to any of the Hoffman's in the Trinity Lutheran cemetery. Are you related to any of the Bainbridge's in the Kingsley Cemetery? Would you like any of them transferred to you.

RE: Gladys McKibbon and Beverly Harrison
I have to tell you I don't know why I did it. Ha ha! I'm glad you caught my error. I don't do it too often. I guess I would have to go back to the time I did it to see what i was thinking. Maybe I was thinking that Hillside was Hinton's cemetery.

The Allyns from New York trace back to Peleg Allyn who was born around 1770 in Cayuga County NY. Before him it's a mystery, a bunch of trees on Ancestry show his father as Gershom but also show Gershom's birth year as 1763, which doesn't make any sense. Possibly they are mixing up his father with his brother but I don't have access to any records that would sort it out. So for now the issue of his parentage remains a mystery.

Hi Brenda,

I transferred them to you.

I noticed your surname. I am related to a lot of Allyns from southern Indiana and southern Illinois. That Allyn family was originally from New York.

William John PICKERILL
Hi, Brenda! I am researching the Civil War soldiers who were buried in Graceland Cemetery in Avoca, Iowa. One of them is supposedly William John PICKERILL. You have a memorial page for Millie E. McCuen PICKERILL which I provided photos for you. Your info says she married William John PICKERILL Dec. 20, 1875. What I am interested in is the birth and death dates of William. Do you by any chance have an obituary for him? Do you think he would have been buried in Graceland Cemetery but just didn't have a stone?

A huge THANK YOU if you can answer any of these questions for me to include in my research for the Avoca Historical Society!! Barb
