I suppose it is. This one is in the correct cemetery. We have Pleasant Hill Methodist Cemetery and Pleasant Hill Presbyterian Cemetery, on opposite ends of the county. I have emailed the other one that holds the memorial and told her that all of hers are in the wrong cemetery, but I have never got a reply from her. She has several in that cemetery that belongs in the other cemetery and refuses to do anything. After I realized that I had made duplicates and she refused to move hers I left mine there as they were in the correct cemetery. I walk the cemeteries and take the pictures I add. I do not sit behind a computer in another state or county and add them. If Find A Grave wants to delete mine and add hers that would be great, then hers would be in the correct cemetery. Thank you for your email and I hope someday the issue will be resolved.

Thank you for the edit suggestion for Florry J. Jones. I am pleased to have that.
Would you mind telling me your source for her maiden name? Thank you for your help. :)

Scott, The remains are not buried with the new placement of the monuments. The broken pieces of the monuments were put in a fence row, so the exact location of which grave the monuments would go to is unknown.
Hope this helps,

|Jerry H||Ruth Majcen Two Cemeteries|
You have a right to be confused.
I don't have an explanation, but I can say that the entries in the two different cemeteries are not a mistake.
I have seen this on rare occasions, but it is usually someone who had two spouses and the name is shown on the gravestones of both of the spouses.
In the case of Ruth, her husband died 22 years earlier. Possibly in those 22 years the Greendale site got filled up by children or other relatives that died, and there was no longer any room for her.
Possibly in those 22 years she decided she didn't want to end up in the cold underground and would prefer a nice mausoleum house out of the elements. (Greendale does not have a mausoleum.)
Your guess is as good as mine. Interesting observation though.

I have been made aware this is a duplicate and have contacted the owner of the original inquiring of a transfer. However she has not responded. I am waiting two more days and if she does not respond by then, I guess I have to send info to the Admins

|Desertthorn||Laredo Cemetery Photo Request|
I am going to go to Laredo next Spring and plan to try to knock out some of the photo requests while I am there. I see you have a very old request, could you possibly try to get the plot number for me as its a huge cemetery, and I'll try to take a photo.

Scott, Thanks so much on the cemetery location help. I admit I had trouble with that one.

My honor and privilege. Despite the cemetery being horribly overgrown, Mr. Olha's stone stands out prominently.

|Pam Zimmerman||Imogene A. Carey Diamond|
Hi. I see that you have pages started for my cousin Imogene A. Carey Diamond and her husband, Joseph W. Diamond, with just the cemetery and approximate dates listed. I am building pages for them (and their families) with exact dates, pictures, bios, relationships to family members, etc. and am wondering if you would like to remove your pages for them so that there are not two pages for the same people. Please let me know how you would like to handle. Thanks! Pam (Carey) Zimmerman

|MariCass||Sorry to be a Pest!|
You seem to have a lot of experience with Find A Grave. I have been reading the FAQs, but maybe you can direct me how to do this. I have an uncle (Army vet)who passed away in April. He donated his body to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. I do not have a cemetery or marker, but would like to make a memorial for him, also for my aunt (his sister) who has been cremated, but not interred. Thanks for all your help!

Hi Scott. It just occured to me that Pedro S Campa was an Army vet in WWII. So he couldn't have been here illegally. I searched his name on Ancestry just to see if I could find dates, but didn't find anything. Will be trying again. Have a great day!

Yes, they are next to each other. I tried the foot thing, but it was very hard to do, especially with 2 bad knees! If I am back in that area, I will have garden tools with me.

|Clifford Englert||Harold Lau burial site|
Hi Scott, as you can see from the headstone the site is Sect. G, Plot 275. Also, his birthdate is on the stone if you wish to include it in your record.

Could you please turn over Theresa's site to me I'm her daughter in law and want to put a tribute which would include her family relations both living and deceased. I have added her photo and will be adding her cemetery marker along with additions I will be making to my husbands family. I am in the process of doing mine and my husbands genealogy and am using find a grave to store and document family relationships.
Thanks Deb Bruni
