|An Oregonian||Lydia and Johnson Chapman|
Thank you for sharing the name of the cemetery. I took that picture of Lydia's tombstone in 1997 and misplaced the name of the cemetery. I have some information on yours and added it to mine, and you might note that Lydia was born 1782, not 1772. According to her tombstone. I put these memorials on in September 2011, yours came after. I guess you didn't notice that mine were virtual and you could have given me the cemetery name. I hope that you will agree that because mine came first, I should retain the memorials. I would rather do it this way. If you insist that I remove mine, well we need to communicate further. If you do retain the memorials I will add the tombstone picture of Lydia, unless you choose to do so--this is the picture that I took.
I'm sure we can straighten this out without too much stress. Respectfully, Ann M.

I noticed you created a memorial for Mildred Foli Gerry and was wondering if you are related to her. Also, where did you find that photo of her?

I did a photo request for this grave and the response was that it could not be found. Archille is my great great uncle and obviously you found the grave. Can you give me any info that will help a photo volunteer find it?

Thank you for this photo. Apparently someone's version of "repairing" this gravestone was to separate the top half from the rest of the bottom and all that pertinent information and hiding the bottom line of what remains in dirt. Wouldn't have been my choice but... In any case, I do appreciate your time and effort in obtaining this photo. Thanks again. - Allison

|Laurie LaPage||shirley legros/fort covington|
Hi, I was just checking out one of our local cemeteries on Find A Grave and noticed your memorial for a Shirley Legros. You have her in the Fort Covington cemetery but it states in her obituary information that she is buried in St. Mary's cemetery here in Fort Covington. You may want to switch her and enter a photo request for the Spring/Summer. Just a suggestion. Laurie LaPage

|Justin Perry||Florence I Bodette|
Thank you for adding this obituary. Florence was my Great-Aunt. She died when I was 10 years old but I certainly remember her fondly.
What fascinated me was that it linked to my great grandparents and my great-uncle, Norman. Missing are my other great-uncle, Lester (He died in 1996, he wasn't very close to the family and lived in Glens Falls for many, many years.) and my grandmother (the youngest of the Bodette children), Doris M. Rivers -- who died on October 16, 2011.
Again, thank you for this obituary addition and the finds that came with it!

|Nancy Fayette||Botten @ St Peter's|
I don't know which was created first but there are 2 memorials for this person. One was by you and perhaps the other is a family member. I know a Betty Botten, active with NNYACGS so the name caught my eye.
I was looking through St Peter's for DeFayette's. Found Catherine DeFayette Kipp who was my sister's m-i-l. Way back my Fayette family split with some staying Faille//Fayette and others going to DeFayette.
To make things short one of my classmates at SJA married George DeFayette, Catherine's brother and Jane and George's son died June 12. There will be a memorial for him at St John's Wednesday so I put his memorial there. I didn't find where George was buried when he died but they always attended St John's even though living on Tom Miller Rd.

b. July 1925 d. April 2009. You don't have him in a cemetery. I don't know if you are near Plattsburg, NY or not, but if you are couldn't you call the funeral home and ask where this gentleman is buried?
I had a good working relationship with several (all except 2) funeral homes/directors. They helped with everything from dates, names, spelling, etc. Of course, that was in Virginia and now I have to start all over here in Indiana!
Even if you don't want to do this or cannot do it, if you'd get the phone number for me I'll try. He's "shirt tail" relation to me so I'm very interested.
If you'd like my phone number, please e-mail me at email@example.com (don't want to give it out here in the open).
Thanks for listening and helping however you can.
