Philbert Wright 1777 [aka PW 1777]

Hello, again. Regarding my messages on Mar 28, 2013 4:29 and Mar 29, 2013 1:14 PM

I just wanted to follow up to the previous messages above in the event that other descendants of this gentleman may be looking for him.

The gentleman did take the DNA test and it was determined that he would have been a descendant of Richard Wright, Sr. of Maryland, Virginia and later in NC. The DNA came from a direct all-male lineage back to Philbert Wright 1777 who was the son of Philbert Wright b. 1750 in Maryland.

PW 1750 was the son of Philbert Wright b. 1719 in Maryland whose baptismal record shows him to be the son of Philbert Wright & Esther Becraft of Maryland. This Philbert & Esther were also the parents of the above cited Richard Wright, Sr.

The DNA results proved to be exact match for descendants of PW1750 who, though born in Maryland, later moved to Randolph County, NC, married Elizabeth Reagan and where PW 1777 was born. So many Philbert's in a family line :-]

Any relationship to the line of Joseph Wright and Mary Farquhar of Maryland would not exist, as according to Quaker records it seems they never left Maryland and the DNA of Joseph is not genetically compatible.

Thank you for posting the original information.

Yes, as per my previous response, records are not always 100% correct - which is why I asked. :)

thank you for the research

I am a Worth descendant and his mother was Rachel Worth Macy, whose mother was Rachel Worth and her father was William Gayer Macy, hence the Macy name. Records aren't always 100% correct, but they are close enough to match names in census records and birth/death records. What would you like to know?

Yes, I am directly related. Please transfer the memorials and tell me what's wrong. I'll be glad to fix it. I too have a dying family member and many other family related problems. We all have turmoil in our lives right now, so I do understand. thanks for transferring them. I'll be happy to link them up and fix them.

I wished I didn't. It was a badly written computer program that has created a lot of problems.

RE: Levi Coffin
there is a burial record that Spring Grove Cemetery has with a unique number on it. I'm trying to get that number on each findagrave.com Spring Grove Cemetery memorial so we havae a reference in case there is a question. You'll see the number on the autogravr records with URL that doesn't work. we're removing the URL and leaving the number. Where the number doesn't exist, we're adding it.

If you have any questions please ask.

Thank you
.. for your reply on Philbert Wright 1777. My inquiry was prompted by finding a direct male descendant who is taking a DNA test to tell once-and-for-all which Wright Philbert was related to - mine or another in the same NC county. Thanks for taking the time to write.

Re" Find A Grave Memorial# 93722869

Hi. Are you related to this gentleman? If you have info on him, please contact me. I'm a Wright researcher and believe he may be related. I've seen his father as Joseph Wright, but do you know who his [Joseph] father was?

Thomasons in Georgia
Where were they in Georgia? We've recently identified a Thomason cemetery in Douglas County, GA -- all uninscribed fieldstones (5 graves).

Also, where were your Bonds in the late 18th and early 19th centuries? Mine were in Elbert County, GA -- one was Nathan Bond.

Mary Clover
RE: My Mother Was A Friend
Hi Beverly,

Mom is doing well. She is still living in St. James in the same house where she has lived for the past 40+ years. Sometimes she talks about downsizing to a smaller house in town. I suppose she could follow through if she finds the right house in the right location for the right price.

Mom thought your name was familiar, but could not put a face to it. If she saw a picture of you from that time period, she thought she might remember you then.

I knew your mother passed away shortly after she left St. James. What I best remember about her was she made fabulous homemade bread pudding! I have her recipe around here somewhere, but I have never made the effort to try it out myself.

You mentioned you are related to the Clover's on your Grandfather Jones' side. How is he related to the Clover family?

Sincerely,

Mary Lee

Beverly,

The year 1851 appears in Boone County AR family history volume. The chapter on the John Thomason family was prepared by a family member.

RE: Young John Thomason #52378046
Thanks, Beverly, for linking Young John Thomason to his parents. I am Thomason related, my grandmother was a Thomason, from Wes Zemeriah, from Zemeriah Bud, to Zemeriah, who came to Arkansas from Georgia. I have found more Thomason relatives than any of my other relatives. Thanks again.

RE: F Wayne Bond #90114040
Oh, yes, do you have any clue as to who his real parents are? His death certificate showed Charles Bond of Excello, MO--born in MO and Katie Havens born in MO (RootsWeb had her as Ahrens OR Havens and showing with a child F. Wayne Bond 1910-1912 born and died in Macon County, MO). I am really confused now. Any help would be appreciated.

Respectfully, Pam Witherow
