Procedure Question
While I was at the Holy Cross Polish National Catholic Cemetery in Commack October 2013, I snapped some neighboring gravestones to my grandfather-in-law Stanislaus Jackowski. Do you mind if I post the gravestone shots?

Dave Deatherage
PBJ Bomber - "The Love Bug"
Hello,

I am helping a lady to find information about her uncle, Sgt. John A. Becker - KIA 02/06/1945.

His plane, a US Marine PBJ-1H, bureau # 35275, crashed on Ponape, Caroline Islands, killing evryone on board.

You posted a picture of a PBJ bomber with the name "The Love Bug" painted on its nose - is this the actual plane that Becker and crew were flying?

Thanks for any info.

Photo Request
Dear Mr. Chiarella,

I see you have taken several photos in the Mount Neboh Cemetery, in Glendale, Queens County, NY, and also the photo of the cemetery gate.

I was wondering if it would be possible for you to take a gravestone photo for Bernard Levin, (November 15, 1881 - January 7, 1945), who is buried in Plot 683 of New York Hebrew Mutual. We live in south Florida, or I would consider doing this myself. We no longer have any relatives living in the state of NY, so my request is at the mercy of the wonderful Find A Grave.com volunteers! This would be so very much appreciated.

Thank you in advance, if this is possible, and not too much of an inconvenience. I look forward to your reply

Sincerely,
Ramona C. Peterson

lorraine wheelan
william and augusta neary
Dear Mr. Chiarella,

I have photo requests in on my great grandparents.

I have additional information if you would be the one filling this request. Augusta Braun Neary is buried in public lot 1, map 5, row 34, grave 57 and died in December 1893. William is buried in another plot - public lot 25, map 3a, row 46, grave 4 and he died in 1906.

I hope this aids you in finding their graves as I don't know if they have tombstones. Thank you!

Sincerely,
Lorraine Wheelan

Megan Heyl
Lloyd Freeman memorial
Hello John,
I am helping the Randolph County Genealogical Society update their cemetery database and see you have added a memorial for a Lloyd Freeman at a Salem Cemetery in Modoc. Can you please send me some additional information on this burial ground?

We are searching for GPS / directions, and info so we can make sure we don't miss any cemeteries.

Thanks so much... I appreciate your helping us locate and document all the cemeteries in Randolph County.

Find a grave request
Dear John,
I am researching the family tree of William S. Stowell and have submitted a request for a photo of his grave. IF you are the one that answers this request is it possible to look and see if a wife would be buried next to William? Thank-you.

All the Best,
Patrick Gorman

James Billy
Hello, you found the cemetery that my father James Billy 1914-1999 was buried at in Calverton National Cemetery. Is it possible for you to upload pictures of the actual plot? Please email me @ milesgrl11@gmail.com.
This will mean so much to me, I'm tearing up just thinking about it.

Thank you.

Mirandola, Italy
Try: Italy, then Emilia-Romagna in the next drop down box, then Provincia di Modena as the last selection. Let me know if it works. I have the Interment document showing all five airmen's remains were returned from Mirandola, Italy and interred in the same casket. Don't know if you would want to post it on the memorial. Perhaps, it would be to graphic. I know it certainly upset me when I saw the info in black and white. But then again, maybe we need to be reminded of the sacrifices these men made. How soon we forget the horrors of war.
