Whispers From The Grave
Ruth Foster
Hi Ron,

I am glad you supply photos for stars that don't have a picture on their memorial but may I ask why you felt the need to do one for Ruth Foster (Little House on the Praire)? I made the memorial (#901015370) for her and put a picture of her and Michael Landon there and it was replaced with the picture you put up. I am hurt and frustrated because I put the picture that best reflected her character on LHOTP. I could've put the one you supplied but it is not a very attractive one of her and does not show the kind person she was both in real life and on the show. :o(

Since you are good at finding pictures of the stars, do you think you can find one of Eldridge "Kit" Carson? He was in several movies and in 19 episodes of "Tales of Wells Fargo". I have searched and searched and can't find one of him. I have a memorial (#73672629) for him along with with a picture of his grave and would like a photo to go with it. The sad thing is the powers to be here on find a grave won't accept him as "famous". It's very sad that they refuse to acknowledge him but I guess that's just life. Anyway, your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your help.

Blessings,
Paula

I just found your post for the Boy Scouts founder above. Thank you for your hard work for Find A Grave. Volunteers like you have made the site one of the best research tools in the world. If you ever go back to his grave it would be so wonderful if you would post his other family buried with him. Thanks for all you do.

Hi Ron....I saw the photo you posted of B B McKinney on his memorial and was wondering if you would mind me copying it and attaching it to my family tree on ancestry.com. I would give you the credit on there though.

Thanks

Hi Ron, just saw your photo of Rob on his memorial page. I was checking out Roseland Park Cemetery because my grandparents are there. Just a few minutes ago I noticed an obituary for another MC5 member in California. I think I recall his name but am not sure so will not mention it here.

Sherida (Riggs) Childers
Thank you
As a fellow contributor to Find A Grave, I just wanted to thank you for all your hard work. I just read your memorial for Diana Hyland. I recently saw her in an episode of "The Fugitive" and was trying to remember where I had heard her name before. It wasn't until I read her bio on Wikipedia that I remembered she had dated John Travolta before her death. Thank you again for your continued efforts to make Find A Grave a great website!

SkåneBesökare
June Pointer
Hello, I happened to be at Mt Tamalpais Cemetery today, fulfilling a request. Since I was in the area, I took a few other photos of surrounding grave markers, and just realized I took a photo of June Pointer's marker. Unfortunately, there's no room to add the photo, since there are already 2 portraits on the memorial. If you'd like me to upload the photo, would you please eliminate one of the portraits so I can add it? Both photos are lovely, but personally, I think the marker should be included in the memorial. Please let me know what you decide. Thanks, Debora

Janet T.
Jack Kelly memorial
Ron, I am a fan of Jack Kelly; and one of my friends said that your memorial isn't included in "famous people" for some reason. Just writing to thank you for remembering Jack Kelly, and to see if there is some way to get this into the 'famous' category. Apparently, Jack's sister Nancy Kelly is in that group, but not Jack.

Sincerely,

Janet T.

Good Morning:

I have determined that William Manchester and his wife are buried in Indian Hill Cemetery in Middleton Connecticut. Please see the following link for further information:

Manchester was a favorite author of mine. I would appreciate the record being revised as to his final resting place.

Thank you.

Hi Ron, this site has great information, if you should want to add to the bio. for Daniel Decatur EMMETT. Also, I thought you may like to read the memorial page for "Dixie", the fire house dog.

Alice Nunn (Large Marge Actress)
Thank you for adding information to the Alice Nunn memorial page. It is sad that there is not more information listed on the Internet about this iconic character actress. I have created a Facebook page in her honor with lots of photos and other facts: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Alice-Nunn/264857670207325?sk=wall#!/pages/Alice-Nunn/264857670207325?sk=wall

Chet Walker
John S. Knight
The burial site listed for John Shively Knight is incorrectly listed. It is
Rose Hill Burial Park
3535 Medina Road
Akron
Summit County
Ohio USA

It is not in Hamilton County, Ohio. His father is buried there as well. Also his cause of death was a heart attack. He was visiting a friend for dinner the night he died and he passed away at their house.

Thanks,

Chet Walker

B. P. Davhen
Johnny Mercer
Mr. Moody, in researching the life and career of the film actress Bette Davis I discovered that Johnny Mercer (who was in love with Ms. Davis at the time), wrote a song for, about, or one inspired by his feelings for her. Do you happen to know which of his many songs it might be? Any knowledge or lead that you might have concerning this question will be much appreciated.
