The genealogy bug bit me early in life. As a boy I used to run the cemeteries with my great grandmother Margaret (Gearhart) Ashcraft and listen to her talk about the family before my time. History was my favorite class in school. In my adult years my grandmother Helen (Ashcraft) Banks went together to the cemeteries.
