Bio

I was born in Ellensburg, Washington in 1952. My great-grandfather, Joseph Watson, was an early settler of Roslyn, Washington (featured on the TV show "Northern Exposure") and served as a city councilman there. Due to coal mining disasters, labor unrest and the violent robbery of the Ben Snipes Bank, Joseph moved his large family into the Kittitas Valley and took up farming. I am named after one of his sons and that son's son. My own father, Joseph, went to Central Washington College and became a high school principal. I currently reside in Baker City, Oregon.
