I have been researching my family for about 30 years now. I have just recently learned of Find a Grave and I am really enjoying contributing and discovering!!

I enjoy taking my camera and walking through cemeteries. Now, that is a "hobby" that only people that love genealogy can understand!

I have decided its a good idea not to just take pictures of people I know connect to my family so I try to take as many pictures as I can when I am at any cemetery that my "search" takes me to!!

If I have a memorial that you want transferred please ask! If it is NOT in my line I will be more than glad to transfer it over!! If it IS in my family, will be glad to discuss it with you! I do not mind putting the work in, I'm at the cemetery anyway! :-) I believe that if you want someone's memorial, its someone who means something to you.

When I come across what seems to be "family plots" I like to try and get a picture of the whole plot as well as an individual stone. I put these on the memorial page so that maybe it will help out with realizing certain people do connect even if one is not sure how they connect. I pay special attention to all Military stones and baby/child stones.

I sometimes have as many as three cemetery photos on a memorial page. Usually those are.. family plot, regular stone & military footstone. I know there is a limit of 5 photos, so if you need a photo removed from your memorial that I have placed, please let me know and I will remove it. Also, if there is a better photo showing the stone placed after one of mine, please let me know so I can remove mine!
