An organization that I belong to is U.S. Daughters of the War of 1812. One of our recent projects is finding the burial locations of the men who fought in the War of 1812 who are buried in Michigan. My goal is to put the pictures of the tombstones for the soldiers that I found in Kent and Ottawa Counties on Find A Grave. And, it may take me all winter, but our ancestors will also be posted.
